Broken

Sasuke's POV

It took me 3 days to reach Konoha's gates. I barely stopped to rest, I was more worried about reaching Sakura than I was of my own well-being. By the time I got to the gates, Naruto was there to great me as well as my old sensei, Kakashi.

"Thank Kami, you finally made it Teme." Naruto said to me.

"Why was I not made aware before it got this bad, Dobe?" I asked him.

Kakashi placed his hand on my shoulder and a shot him a glare.

"I'm sorry, Sasuke. She wouldn't let us contact you, she made that very clear." Kakashi said to me.

I looked at the ground and sighed.

Sakura's POV

I knew he would be here today. I know I'm not ready for this, seeing him again. I can't be ready when the memories of that horrific day still burn in my mind. But, I guess I have no choice in seeing him now, he would be at my door any minute and would definitely not accept a no, I knew him better than that.

Knock Knock

I knew it, I knew it was just a matter of time. I stood up and walked to the door. I reached for the knob but my body refused to let me open the door, I just stood there like a deer stuck in headlights.

"Sakura.." I heard Sasuke say, "Open the door, please. Please, I need to see you."

"I can't, my...body won't let me." I said.

"Move. I'll open it myself." He said to me.

I back away from the door and waiting for him to open the door. I heard the handle turn and the door swung open and then closed behind him. I saw his eyes widen at the sight of me.

Sasuke's POV

I opened the door and let it shut behind me. I turned to Sakura and I couldn't believe my eyes. She was so thin and her long hair was messy and oily. Her once vibrant green eyes were a shade of greenish gray. The once beautiful Sakura, was a shell of her former self, it was like she wasn't even here anymore.

"Sakura?" I said as I walked towards her.

I saw her step back and she hit the wall behind her. I saw the tears fall from her face and I ran to her and placed my hands on her face. This girl was definitely broken.
