Suffer

Kakashi's POV

I had grown impatient with waiting for Sasuke to find Itachi. If he couldn't find him then I would use my hounds to do so. I summoned my hounds.

"Pakkun, I require a favor from you." I said to the small pug like hound.

"Yes, sir Kakashi, what is this favor?" He asked me.

"I need you to track down Itachi Uchiha. It's very important that I find him." I said and he bowed his head and left.

'He's going to pay for what he did to you Sakura, I will make him suffer. I give you my word.'

To Sakura

Sakura's POV

It's been a week since Kakashi left. I was beginning to worry about him, since he hasn't attempted to contact me yet like promised.

"Lady Sakura, a letter has just arrived for you." A woman said to me as she walked in my office.

"Thank you, Shizune." I said to her.

Shizune used to help out my shisou, Tsunade before she retired. She decided to focus her work on the hospital after that happened. But, now she works for me.

I look down at the letter and roll my eyes. Of course, as soon as I start to worry, Kakashi sends a letter.

"Lady Sakura,

There's still no sign of Itachi, for that I apologize. I just wanted you to know that I am well and am continuing my search and will not be returning until he is found. I am not gonna let him get away with what he did to you. I may have not been the best teacher, but I am planning on making it up to you. Take care and good luck on your new position.

Kakashi"

I smiled to myself and put the letter in my drawer.

Kakashi's POV

I sat at my camp and awaited on the return of my hounds. I hoped they at least have a clue to his location.

"Sir Kakashi, we searched within many villages to no avail, there's no scent of him anywhere in this area." Pakkun said to me.

I sighed and placed my head in my heads. How can one man just vanish off the face of the earth without even a sighting or anything?

'I will not be giving up anytime soon. I am coming for you, Uchiha.'
