Sasuke's POV
I laid awake and stared at my wife sleeping. In her arms, she held my beautiful daughter, Sarada. Sarada was barely 3 months old now but she held my heart in her tiny fingers. I smiled to Sakura and caressed her face softly. She smiled in her sleep. She gently opened her eyes and looked at me.
"Sasuke-kun? Why are you still awake?" She asked me with a small smile.
"I can't sleep. I was cherishing the sight infront of me." I told her.
She smiled at me and blushed.
Sarada started to stir in her sleep and Sakura got up to make a bottle. I grabbed her hand and had her sit back down.
"I've got it. Just rest." I said as I picked up Sarada and carried her to the kitchen.
I made her bottle and fed her. I stared at her little black eyes and smiled.
"I can't wait until you grow up. I can't wait to tell you all about how me and your mother came to be, granted it's not the best love story." I said to her.
It was true, it was no fairytale. I treated that woman so horribly, yet I was forgiven in the end. I felt her fall asleep in my arms and I walked back into the bedroom. I placed her in her crib and laid down with my beloved Sakura. I wrapped my arm around her and pulled her close. There isn't a thing I would change. I would cherish this life with all my being. We may not have have a fairytale love story, but we definitely had a fairytale ending.
