We walked out the door and as we were getting into a ship we found, I heard a loud patter of feet behind us. "Wait!" I heard a voice and turned around. Luke ran towards us. "I wanted to tell you that...whatever happens in the next years...whether if the war ends or continues, if you ever need help, I'll be here," he explained. "Thank you...." I responded. But I doubted I'd ever need his help, I watched him become smaller as we ascended into the air. "Are you sure it's a good idea to leave here? I was blending in pretty well," I said to him.

Cassian flipped a switch and then adjusted his headset. I waved a hand in front of his face. "Yes?" He asked, eyes still on the planet filled area in front of us. "I'm sorry," he continued. "I'm trying to focus on the galaxy around us because I know...I know that I'll keep getting distracted with the stars right besides me. And sometimes it's my weakness. I know that someday my weakness is going to be my strength. Just not now, ok?" He explained. I was silent. The stars besides him...The stars were me. We headed towards a dark planet.

"Where is this?" I questioned. "Coruscant...used to be where the Jedi temple was. Now controlled by the Empire," he said. "Wait...the Empire?!" I exclaimed. "Yes. But there are apartments where we will hide. I promise," he reassured me. I didn't feel reassured. Empire territory? I waited until we landed. "So you already found an apartment?" I asked. "I knew some guys." He responded.

The complex was simple, the room not too large, but the view of the city was nice. But as I stood while Cassian unpacked the items Luke's family gave us, I didn't quite feel peaceful. The war still frightened me. Well, the fact that it might last forever. I wiped a tear from my eye and then gripped my hands against the railing on the deck area. I was still angry at the war and what it had done to everyone. I felt a hand on my shoulder and then around my waist. I leaned into his hold. "Don't cry, Jyn," he whispered. "I'm not," I lied. He didn't respond, but I knew he saw past my lie. He laid his chin on my shoulder and stared out into the rush of speeders and neon lights.

I didn't cry though. I was past it. I had to move on. I had to keep living my life. He then lead me back inside to the small interior we had. A couch, a small kitchen, and 2 bedrooms. That night, I enjoyed being in my own bed. But as the night continued, I looked over to see no one besides me. The beds were large and being the only one, I felt cold and lonely. So with a sigh, I got out of bed and walked towards Cassian's room. He was asleep so I slowly and gently slid in besides him. And soon enough, his arm was around me. The nightmares came and went. They didn't even faze me because I knew I'd be safe here. Safe for the rest of my life as long as I was here with him.
