Chapter 35 Katelyn POV

   I woke up in Severus's chair in the potions classroom. I groaned and rubbed my head. Then I saw Severus standing in the doorway all bloody.
   "Oh Merlin", I groaned, "did we kill anyone?"
   "You almost killed Pansy and I", he said walking over. Then Samantha got up.
   "What happened", she groaned.
   "A full moon happened", I said.
   "Oh no", she said. Then she looked around and she gasped.
   "What", I asked and I looked around too, "oh...that...we can fix that." Severus raised a brow at the unsure tone in my voice.
   "Yeah...totally", Samantha said uneasily.
   "Then I will let you two handle that", Severus said. Groaning in pain, I stand up.

   "Ok", I say. I start to say something else but I froze. My eyes went black and my pupils went white. My mouth was open and I stared into open space. Someone called my name but it sounded distant. A wicked laugh built up in my chest, almost maniacal. I made no attemp to hold it back. It grew louder and louder. Samantha had a horrific look. My long white hair was replaced with long purple hair. My skin had turned purple. I was now wearing a purple night guard uniform.

   "Oh no...It can't be possible", Samantha said horrified.

   "Oh but it can", I said, but it wasn't me. Severus had sensed something was wrong by the look on Samantha's face.

   "Violet", Samantha growled. I laughed again and reached into my pocket and felt the handle to a knife.

   "What is going on", Severus asked. Then a student came in. I walked toward the kid and lead him to another room. Samantha was frozen in fear and Severus was trying to figure out what happened. I locked the door behind me and got behind him. I pulled out the knife and stabbed him. I drew the knife out and he turned around. Next i stabbed his right eye out. I stabbed his chest, laughing maniacally. He was long dead before I stopped. I was covered with blood splatter. I waked out and left the body and locked the door behind me. I had the only key to it. I ran into some students but when they asked what happened, I ignored them. Then I walked outside. The knife was still in my hand. I laughed loudly to the empty space.
"Look out world, VIOLET IS BACK", I shouted looking up. A twig snapped behind me. I spun around and saw a young girl with yellow hair. I ran toward her and stabbed her chest. I stabbed her repeatedly like the last kid. She was dead. Then I was back in my right mind and realized what I just did, although my appearance didn't change back. I fell to the ground and cried in front of the dead body. Then I heard footsteps behind me. I didn't bother to look up. Almost as fast as they came, the footsteps retreated.
"Why", I asked myself, "why me? Can't I get a break from all of this torture?" I buried my face into my hands. The knife was still in my hand and I had blood all over me. A throat cleared behind me. I turned around and saw Samantha glaring down at me. As tears streamed down my face she took a step toward me.
"What have I done", I asked in a shaker voice. She looked angry.
"Why must you kill innocent children every time", she shouted. It only caused me to cry more. Then I heard gears clicking and something moved in the bushes, but I ignored it. Then Severus came and his face was blank unreadable when he saw the dead body.
   "I-I didn't m-m-mean t-to", I stuttered, "it w-wasn't m-m-me..."
   "That doesn't change the fact that an innocent student is dead", Samantha snapped. Then she held out her hand.
   "Get up", she growled. I just nodded my head and did what she told me to do. Severus crossed his arms and I followed Samantha back into Hogwarts. We walked past Dumbledore and he looked confused by my appearance. Severus stayed behind to tell Dumbledore that a student was dead. I followed Samantha down to the dungeons and she pulled me toward an empty classroom that wasn't being used and through me in and locked the door behind me. I got up and banged on the door.

   "NO DON'T LOCK ME IN HERE!!! I WILL BE GOOD", I shouted as I hit the door with my fists. She opened a little hatch and looked me in the eye fiercely.

   "No. You are not coming out until you can fight Violet...or we could use the other option where you give into her and we kill you...you can't be trusted", she said darkly, "heck, I can't even tell if it is you!" Then she closed the hatch and left. 

   "She is right...I can't be trusted", I said to myself. Then I heard faint laughing. Like someone laughing at someone else. Like someone laughing at me. Then a lock turned. I looked up and saw Harry and Dumbledore. Harry hesitated before stepping in. I just watched him, not moving. 

   "Katelyn? Is it you", he asked.

   "Yes and if you want to remain living then leave", I said, not looking him in the eye.

   "Come on Katelyn, Samantha is worried", I heard Severus say but I didn't see him because I was facing the opposite direction.

   "I-I-I can't.....I am not trust worthy....you can't....no one can trust me", I said.

   "Lets go. You don't have an option", he said picking me up and putting me on my feet. I merely nodded my head and allowed myself to be dragged to our personal quarters. Once we got there I went and laid in our bed and fell asleep. Then I had a dark memory as a dream.
