Chapter 8 Severus POV

   Everything from my years as a spy were telling me to stay away but I ignored it. She came and sat in my lap and her back was to me. She laid back and I wrapped an arm around her. Then she turned around quickly and pressed her lips against mine. Her kiss was warm and sweet. I kissed her back and then someone cleared their throat. We snapped out of our little dream world and turned to see Dumbledore who was just chuckling.
"Shut up, old man", I said. I never heard him come in. Then Katelyn elbowed me.
"OW! What was that for", I asked.
"Be nice", she said. I grumbled and then looked back at Dumbledore.
"What do you want", I asked.
"I was going to see if you knew where Katelyn was but I see you found her first", he said chuckling.
"Why", I asked.
"Because Draco said she attacked him for no reason", Dumbledore said being serious, "and he was bleeding."
"Oh you don't know the whole story", Katelyn said. I could feel the rage starting to boil in her.
"What do you mean", I asked her.
"He tried to invade my privacy", she said sternly. The rage was boiling more and more.
"What do you mean by that", Dumbledore asked.
"He pinned me down on the couch and tried to invade my privacy", she said. The rage was boiling inside her. Dumbledore opened his mouth to say something but I said something first.
"If he ever tries to do that to you again I will deal with him", I said. Dumbledore nodded and then walked out shutting the door behind him. I looked at the raging Katelyn. She turned to me and hugged me.
"Everything inside me is telling me to kill him...but I can't", she said burring her face into my shoulder, "it would just make everything worse."
"Everything will be fine...but let's get back to what we were doing before Albus interrupted", I said pulling her close. She looked at me and we kissed again. Then we broke away because of the need for air. For a split second I saw sadness in her eyes. Then I looked at the time. It had been only 30 minutes since she first came in. She looked exhausted.
"Here hold on", I said picking her up. Then I carried her to my personal quarters. I walked into my bedroom and laid her in my bed and walked out to the couch and shut the door behind me. I laid down on the couch and fell asleep.
