I was finally able to calm down and stop crying after awhile. I laid on the couch with Severus silently. I could feel the rage inside of me ready to snap if something else happened. I really hated my brother right now. Then a sleeping Severus shifted. I got off the couch and grabbed my Slytherin school robes. I walked out and walked down the hall. I made my iPhone appear in my hand and my ear buds. I turned on Spotify and played "bad things" by Machine Gun Kelly.
"Am I out of my head...am I out of my mind...if you only do bad thing in life...don't think that I can't explain it, What can I say... It's complicated", I sang. Then I heard footsteps behind me. I spun around with my wand in my hand and saw Dumbledore behind me.
"Sorry for startling you, Ms. Hollow", he said, "but if you have a minute I would like to speak with you in my office."
"I am not busy and it is fine. I am just a bit...", I started.
"Jumpy", he finished my sentence.
"Yeah", I said as I put my wand in my sleeve. I followed him to his office and I sat down on the couch in his office. Then Maddy came in from the stairs. She came over and jumped into my lap.
"You-know-who is back", he said. I growled at the thought of him being back. He was the one who corrupted my brother. He ordered Death eaters to kill my family. He also ordered my brother to kill me. My death would mean he would have control over the wizard world. It was in a prophecy.
"Earth to Katelyn", he said.
"Oh sorry", I said pushing the thoughts out of my head.
"I suppose you already know the prophecy", he said.
"Yes", I said.
"It is not safe for you in the Slytherin dormitories", he said, "not with Malfoy in there."
"I know", I said softly. Then there was a hand on my shoulder. I stiffened up and looked over my shoulder. Severus was behind me.
"So good for you to join us", Dumbledore said cheerfully, "now let's get down to business."
"What is going on", Severus asked.
"That I am not safe in the Slytherin dormitories", I said.
"Why not", Severus asked.
"Well....", I said as I twisted my hands.
"What are you not telling me", Severus asked.
"Ummm....I am going to let you two talk about this so...yeah...", Dumbledoor said slipping out the door.
"Katelyn", Severus pressed.
"I...I...I am...I am a...a...how do I say this...a ummmm....", I said not looking at him.
"Spit it out already", he said. I took a deep breath.
"I am a descendant of Merlin", I said.
"What. Why didn't you tell me", he said calmly. Then I saw Dumbledore standing in the door way.
"But that isn't everything", I said as I looked at Dumbledore, "there is a prophecy. About me."
"What", Severus said confused.
"Albus can tell you...I need to clear my mind", I said. Dumbledore gave me a concerned look but I ignored them.
"Katelyn", I heard Severus call as I walked down the stairs.
"Severus, let her have some time to clear he mind... This is a topic that she doesn't like talking about", Dumbledore said.
