When I ran away once I saw my everyone in my family dead except my brother. I stood there and cried. I curled up on the floor and imagined what the world would be like if I died that night. Then I saw the moonlight cast in. I kept the lights off. Then a shadow cast over me. "Katelyn, you can't keep running away from me...I am always here for you if you need me and at a time like this you need me", it was Severus. "Always", I asked. "Always", he said then he sat down beside me. He laid down and he moved me so my head was on his chest. "Why does it hurt", I asked. "Why does what hurt", Severus asked. "Why does life hurt", I asked. "It is really complicated", he said. "Why does it hurt", I asked again. "I told you, it is complicated", he said. "No. Why does it hurt for me to be here", I asked. "I don't know but if you want to leave we can", he said. "Ok let's go", I said. We apparated back. He walked me back to his personal quarters and took me to his room. I saw my stuff sitting on the floor in a neat pile. "Albus and I have agreed to have you stay with me for now because of the pending problem", he said. I nodded and walked over to the bed and slipped under the covers. Then Severus did the same and wrapped an arm around me. I snuggled up against him and he gave a small smile. Then I looked him in the eyes and kissed him.
