Chapter 29 Katelyn POV

Then as I walked down the hall I could feel someone following me. I walked down to the dungeons and headed to Severus's office. The person followed so as soon as I reached Severus's office I spun around with my wand in hand. It was Severus. I sighed and lowered my wand. Then I walked into his office and sat down on his couch. He walked over to me.
   "Alright", he said sitting down beside me, "what's wrong?" I couldn't help but laugh because of his hair.
   "I need a broom my last one was broke by my brother", I said. He nodded.
   "Tell you what", he said, "Saturday I will take you to Quidditch Quality Supplies and we will get you a new broom." I stared at him in awe.
   "After what I just did", I asked.
   "Well it is not everyday when a student tries to pull a prank on me and Dumbledore...much less get away with it....and much less committing more", he said, "it puts a little excitement in my life." Then he tickled my sides and I fell down laughing. Then he stopped and pulled me onto his lap. I leaned back on him and he wrapped his arms around me. Then I fell asleep without realizing and had a really bad dream.
   "Samantha didn't look too good in the Great Hall", I said.
   "I didn't notice", Severus said truthfully.
   "I should probably make sure she is ok", I said standing up. Then Severus stood up behind me. I walked to the door and Severus followed. I walked down the hall to the stairs and went up the stairs. Then I heard a crash from the Great Hall. I ran to the Great Hall and immediately stopped in the doorway. There were death eaters. I gasped and started to back up. Then I realized Severus wasn't behind me. Then one of the death eaters saw me. They recognized me and took a step closer. Then the others saw me.
   "There she is", one said. Then another shot a stunning spell at me and then different one grabbed me. Then they all took off and left Hogwarts.
   "LET ME GO", I yelled. I only got zapped with a spell. Then I was dragged to the Malfoy's manor. Then I was thrown down in a cage. Someone walked in and I realized it was Lucius Malfoy. He examined me and turned to the other death eaters who snatched me up. Then he stepped out and then a few minutes later Voldemort came in. He walked over and I looked down avoiding eye contact. Then he walked off and told Lucius that there would be a meeting soon. I curled up in a back corner. An hour later death eaters poured in and a cloth was placed over the cage making it dark but I could see feet walking to chairs. Then the meeting started.
   "I have news that will change the war", Voldemort said, "something that will let me control the wizard world and get rid of Harry."
   "What might that be, my lord", I heard Severus ask. Wait. Severus is here. I peeked under the cloth.
   "The ultimate weapon", he said, "something that will make all of you stronger and possibly invincible." I knew he was talking about me. Then my stomach clenched.
   "This thing's blood will make you stronger", he said. I was so scared he would pull the cloth off of the cage and present his new toy, me. Then a little bit later the meeting was coming to an end. Once all the death eaters left except for Severus, Voldemort told Lucius to remove the cloth as he spoke with Severus. As soon as the cloth was removed I couldn't see. Then my eyes adjusted and I saw Severus sitting at a table with Voldemort. Then as Voldemort spoke Severus's gaze fell on me. Then Voldemort noticed him looking at the cage.
   "She is the thing I was talking about earlier", Voldemort explained, "pity we will have to harm her... She is quite the beauty... But she is nothing more than a mere tool that will be used for our success." Then Severus nodded in agreement. Then Voldemort said some other stuff and then walked out. Then Severus walked over to the cage and unlocked it. Then Voldemort stepped out of the shadows. Then I woke up with a jolt and realized I was in Severus's office. I let out a sigh of relief and got up. Severus was no where to be seen. Then I ventured down the hall and heard Severus teaching a class in his classroom. Then I ran into Dumbledore.
   "Sorry, professor", I said. I realized it was Dumbledore.
   "It is fine, Katelyn", he said, "don't worry about your classes."
"Why not", I asked.
"I am changing your times tables so you have your lessons in private with Severus, McGonagall, and I", he said. I nodded and then he motioned for me to walk with him. We until we reached his office. Then he sat down at his desk and I sat on the couch. Then he pulled something out of his desk. A small vial. Then he handed it to me.
"What is this", I asked.
"It is something to make your powers weak so you don't hurt anyone", he explained.
"Oh thank you, Dumbledore", I said.
"You should probably get to lunch though", Dumbledoor said.
"Ok", then I walked down to the Great Hall. I went and sat in my spot away from the other Slytherins. Then Harry came over.
   "Hey, Harry", I said.
   "Hey, Katelyn. So when are you going to clear things up", he asked, "and explain what you were talking about the other day?"
   "Oh", I said, "how about at the end of the day right before dinner?"
   "Ok sounds good", he said and then walked off. Then I saw Samantha stand up from the Hufflepuff table and she looked sick. She walked out and I followed her. Then she turned around and faced me.
   "Katelyn, why are you following me", she asked.
   "Because you look sick and I can't live without knowing if you are ok or not", I said.
   "I am fine", she said. Then she continued to walk to her room.
   "No your not", I said but she ignored me. I stopped following her and headed outside. Soon it would be summer and school would be over until fall. I walked to the library and sat in a dark corner. Then an all to familiar person in all black clothes came in and walked over to the restricted area. Where I was. He came closer but didn't notice I was there. He pulled a book from a shelf and walked away. I sighed. I just wanted some peace. It seemed like I was alone until I saw someone leaning up against the book shelf looking at me. Then they sat down beside me. I looked over and saw who it was. Severus.
"What do you want", I huffed.
"Why are you back here all alone", he asked.
"Because I just need some peace without anyone bothering me", I said. Then he put an arm around me and pulled me close. I laid my head on his shoulder as we sat there in silence. Then I fell asleep. Dumbledore walked in just as Severus was picking me up to carry me back to our room. He had a free period right now so he didn't rush. As he was carrying me out, Dumbledore saw us. He nodded at Severus and then continued on his way.
   Once Severus opened the door to our bedroom he laid me down on the bed and pulled the covers over me. He laid down beside me and wrapped an arm around me. A little bit later Severus left for his next class. I woke up and realized that I was in my bed. I sat up and Severus was no where to be seen. I got off the bed and pulled out a keyboard from oblivion. I also pulled out a piano bench and sheet music and glided my fingers effortlessly across the keys causing beautiful music to come from the keyboard. I didn't realize how long I had been playing. Severus came in silently and stood behind me and I didn't notice. My fingers continued to glide effortlessly until someone put their hand on my shoulder.
