This story is about a girl named Katelyn Hollow. She is not your typical witch. She has dark secrets that can get people killed. She runs to Hogwarts for safety. She ends up falling for Professor Snape and things start to get messy.
I woke up in a bed with black covers. I sat up and got out of the bed. Then I saw a door. I walked to the door and opened it. I stepped out and looked around. Then I saw a couch with someone laying on it. I walked over to the couch and saw Snape asleep. I sat down by the couch leaning against it. I put my head down and my hair tickled his arm. "Hmmm", he mumbled waking up. "Go back to sleep", I said. "Hold on", he said. Then he pulled out his wand and made the couch slightly bigger. He pulled me onto the couch and he wrapped an arm around me. He covered me up with the blanket and I put my head on his shoulder. He fell asleep. Then I fell into a restless sleep. In my dream I was outside at the edge of the forbidden forest where I would punch away the rage. The air carried the scent of potions and blood. I followed the scent and saw a death eater standing over a dead bloody Severus. He laughed. "Looks like everyone you care about does die...but isn't that apart of your curse", he said. Then he disappeared. I ran over to the bloody Severus and held him close. "No please don't leave me you're the only one I have left, Severus", I cried. Then I heard someone saying my name and shaking me. Then I woke up. "Katelyn, wake up", Severus said shaking me gently to wake me up. "Hmmmm", I asked opening my eyes. Severus held me close and saw that I was ok. "Don't scare me like that", he said. "Sorry", I mumbled still half asleep. He laid back down and I cuddled up with him. I was facing him and he turned onto his side facing me. He pulled me close and I looked up and kissed him. Then I looked at the time. It was already 10:00 am. "Ugh, we missed breakfast", I grumbled. "Looks like we did", he said. "Can you just make something", I asked. "Sure", he said sitting up, "what do you want for breakfast?" "Pancakes", I said softly. He got off the couch and walked to the kitchen. I sat up and walked into the kitchen with him. I walked up to him as he used magic to mix the batter. "I am going out for a little bit. Do you need anything while I am at Hogsmead", I asked. "No", he said, "not that I can think of but I if I do end up thinking of something then I will send my patronus." "Ok", I said then he turned around and I kissed him on the cheek, "love you." "I love you too", he said. Then I walked out to the hall. I left the dungeons and ran into Dumbledore. "There you are", he said, "are you busy because we have a problem." "I was just about to go to Hogsmead but that can wait", I said, "what's wrong?" "Someone is outside looking for you", he said plainly. "Ok", I said confused. Then I walked out of Hogwarts and saw my brother. "Ah, Katelyn. It's good to see you again little sis", my brother said. "How did you find me", I snarled. "I have my sources", he said. "I am not dealing with your games", I snarled. "Then let's get down to business shall we", he said. "And what would that be", I asked. "You ran out on our family", he said. "Says the one who left first and I had to take care of the house. I left after they were murdered", I said, "so I didn't run out on them." "Now don't catch an attitude with me", he said. "Why, I should kill you", I said. "You wouldn't dare", he said, "you would never hurt me. You love me too much." "I wouldn't count on it", I said. Then I was thrown back into a wall really hard from a burst of magic. "I said don't catch an attitude", he snapped. "You were able to control our family but you can't control me! I am not your stupid puppet! You can't pull the strings to control me", I snapped. I threw a burst of magic at him. He countered it and sent it back at me. I was blown back and I smashed through a wall and slumped against the wall. A hufflepuff saw me and ran of calling for Dumbledore. I stood up bleeding my face was all bruised and around my right eye was swollen so I could only see with my left eye. I threw a weak burst of magic at him blowing him into a tree. He had pieces of wood sticking out of his back. He stood up and blew a strong burst of magic at me but I countered it. Even though I countered it the burst still sent me back into the wall. I was bleeding a lot now. I tried to stand up but I fell back down. Then my brother was right in front of me. He handed me a black bunny stuffed animal. My eyes were blood red and my white dress I was wearing was covered in blood.
