Arjun's POV:

"Damn it all to hell! James, what kind of services you guys are running? When you investigate about that Bi.."Steve stopped and corrected it "about that girl, don't you think you should do a thorough investigation on that fellow Arun? Especially when your report says their relationship is questionable? Huh?" he rattled

"Oh, last time we have been given only a day time to investigate that too only about her and her circle. When I submitted the initial report and inquired on further investigation, Sir asked us to end it" James reasoned

"That's exactly the point. From when on you guys have started listening so faithfully to us. Shit!" Steve reeled and Mats intervened, "Past is past anyways, can we just focus on what we have right now? James, Can you run down your theory on this so far"

"I don't need you to run down your theory, just clarify this" I flipped the taxi driver photo onto the table

"Arjun?"

"Mats please, I'm not really liking any of these things already. All I wanted...nope, All I hope is this taxi driver is a known person to them, I just don't care about whether Arun is rich or not...whether he knew about me or not. I'm totally fine even if he played behind my back. He is just someone I don't care in my life" I said lifelessly

"It's not only about him. Have you ever thought why she was still single? She looks good, I mean she is definitely a beauty and someone like her, do you really think she would stay single at this age without dating anyone? Don't you think it's strange" Vicky asked.

"What the heck? I have never dated anyone too, so is that something strange? I really don't have time to listen to your fucked up theories" I sighed

"Arjun, cut the crap. Have you still not got what is happening? Or are you just pretending not to be bothered? They both appeared to have more than friendly relationship. This guy is filthy rich who hid his information and conspired an encounter. Why in the world he had to give a huge ransom to him? I failed to understand how blind you could be" Steve shouted

Am I blind? Lot of time I have screamed at Alex or James not to mess up and for the first time, I prayed sincerely that the report that they have right now should be a messed up one. Somewhere I felt everything about all these is not accurate. Yes, I desperately wanted that to be like that.

"Arjun!", Steve called me out

I was not able to say anything really and I repeated myself again "James, what is with this driver"

James explained that the taxi driver has met Arun day before yesterday and subsequent photos revealed that Arun handing him over some envelop which presumably money or may be something else. Both don't know each other a month before or appeared like that. Dimple has traveled just once in that taxi that too on the day when it was rained.

"You broke up with her a week before that night. Right?", Mats questioned and answered himself "Yes, I remember that was the day we had the congratulatory party and you said you don't really trust them and you made up your mind not to talk to her right"

"then..then...was that a planned meeting? Yes, could be that they knew you would cross that road and they would have planned it?" Vicky barged in with his speculation.

Was it a planned one? I thought I was fated to meet her that day? Was it really a planned one?

I missed you! I don't know how can I miss you so much when I hate you to death, Dimple's teary voice ringed as my memory jogged back to that fateful night..."Yes, Arun must have done that, yes...after our fight, she missed me and he would have tried to help us reconcile", my mind lightened at that thought and continued "yes, he was the one who helped me understand why she stepped out during her lunch time everyday also. He helped clarify my doubts...so that must have been the reason he would have done that."
