Arjun's POV:

"Hogwash! What the heck Arjun? What did you do to get killed?" Steve barked and marched towards Arun and shoved him on the table and punched him hard. Mat and Vicky tried pulling him back along with Arun's entourage and Steve practically reeling on top of his voice "This is not the end, you better note it. You played wrong card Basta*$, we will ensure you see the end soon"

"Steve, get your sense back, let's just get out of here", Mats snapped at him struggling to pull him back and Steve snarled "I won't, until I kill him" as he pull Arun's jacket closer.

Vicky intruded between them to prevent Steve pounding on him and turned to Arun and asked "Don't you think it's very childish to take revenge over such a thing? Would you say yes to whoever proposes to you? Or turning down someone in love interest is some sort of criminal offence?"

"Huh...you talk about offence, right! What else I can expect from bunch of arrogant, filthy rich brutes", he sighed and continued "if it's alright to say no, then why your high and mighty friend feels so upset and why are you guys creating a big scene here?"

"Oh well, he didn't cheat on your sister or played with her feeling by saying yes and then broke up...He just didn't like her and said no...Hope you are aware? "Mats reasoned

"He would not have played with her feeling by raising her hope, but he could have rejected her nicely. Did you know how much struggle she had to go through post that? She practically lost herself in the process of humiliation. Well I'm glad now he got what he deserves and if you guys want to continue this game, I'm all in. But keep Priya out of this" he stressed

"Uh-ho, why should we? After all she deserves the best", Steve smirked and said with a mocking smile "why? Do you guys didn't expect that?"

"Steve, shut the fuck up!" I said and everyone looked at me questionably

"Arjun? What the hell now? Still taking that Bit..?" he stopped short as I shoot eye dagger at him and I looked at Arun and questioned "So, are you good now with your so called revenge? Why did you take so long for it?"

"What do you take me for? Don't think too high of you that we spent our hell lot of time in planning this for years. In fact, We hardly spent few weeks...It looks like you deserved to get punished else why in the world you traveled in the mere taxi that Priya traveled. We were thrilled to know that the lordly insolent jerk is smitten and has got interest in her when she met you 10 months later. Since we knew, what kind of a jackass you are and would not trust her immediately, we had to spend our effort, money...hmm...but what a waste. Huh...I knew you were planning to propose to her and it would have been the best scene ever if she would have rejected you the way you did..."

"Well, I am going to do that anyways", I said firmly interrupting his flow and Arun literally stood slack-mouthed.

"Arjun, don't be such an idiot. What the heck are you even thinking? Did you still not get the fact that she just pretended to make a good impression?" Mats asked in exasperation and Vicky growled "Please don't get even more hurt Arjun, and looks like your brain also broken along with your heart. It's ridiculous for you to be like this over a bitch like her."

"Arjun, what are you.. up to..? I...I told you already, do not bother her. She...she just did...uh... what she would do for her friend Avantika, that is it" Arun stumbled over words

"Let her say that to me", I said and stormed off while Arun was trying to stop me by calling me out as I increased my speed even more towards the door and abruptly halted as I saw her standing near the door possibly eavesdropped the conversation. I stood frozen, our eyes locked and neither of us wanted to break it off.
