I didn't change, my priorities did

Saki's POV:

"Saki, Let's go to hospital. I strongly feel that we need to get your head scan again", Vicky said struggling to hold his anger

"Are you at it again? I am sick and tired of your pestering. Do you know that?", I said sighing

"If you would have listened to me in the first go why should I need to repeat myself? It's been 3 months you stayed at home and I patiently waited thinking that you would get your sense back...but look at what you are up to now?"

"What am I doing which is sooo so wrong? Is dressing up and going out is some kind of crime?" I questioned

"Dressing up and going out is not crime...but for whom and with who matters. Are you really going out with that backstabber Arun? You are driving me crazy little monster....have you really forgiven him?"

"Hmmm. Yes I do. After all he was my friend and I have known him for years Vicky. What he has done is not something small but he has done that out of love. He felt really bad for what he has done. If someone is truly felt sorry for what they have done, don't you think we should forgive them? What is so wrong in that?"

"Wow. I am so proud of you. But why in the world this rule is not applicable to Arjun? Why did you treat him like a shit when he came here to meet you 2 months back? Why can't you forgive him? I just could not understand you"

"Well then don't try to understand" I said blending the blush onto my cheeks

"Saki" he screamed

" Ouch! You scared hell out of me Vicky. It's very annoying. I'm tired with your bickering. It's already late and Arun is waiting down. I need to look my best today. Just tell me whether this neck piece is going well with this gown?"

He shot an eye dagger and said "Saki, Are you by chance trying to infuriate Arjun by going with Arun to the party? Please don't do that...Arjun will be shattered to see you...He actually looked like a dead soul that day Saki. Even though it's been 2 months now, I could not even forget his face when he left that day...He loves you so much Saki, have you really disregarding all that he has done for you? He even trusted you despite what Arun has done. The only mistake he has done was to conceal his true identity...that too..."

"Enough...enough already. Please Vicky. I heard this enough. From when on you became Arjun's puppet? What do you know about him? You hardly spoke to him..." Vicky cut me off and said "You don't need years to know about someone and hope you know that very well. Right now, you are blinded with resentment and that's the reason I'm so scared that you are making hell lot of mistakes now. You know who Arjun is? Right? With all his busy schedules he came all the way here begging to you and what did you do? Don't go overboard Saki. I know you love him too and that's why I didn't interfere when you suffered...but what you are doing is just not right. Don't try to take revenge by going there with Arun. Do not end up doing things and regret later."

"I won't regret and trust me Vicky. If you are so worried, why don't you just call up Arjun and tell him not to come to the party"

"Oh! You know very well that he cut all his ties with us as you told him to do so, then why adding fuel to that. I don't have his number and I don't feel like contacting him too with a sister like you"

"See, you are wasting your energy for someone like him..." and Vicky started saying something and I covered his mouth with my palm to stop his bickering

"My dear brother...I won't do things that would put you down...Have some faith in me and I hope you don't react much when you meet Arun down. I really don't want Dad and Mom know about it", I pleaded
