Ashley's POV:
"What? Being a cheap ass?" Mitch asks. I laugh.
"No, that you have a weird fetish for girls who wear no pants." I say sarcastically. He laughs.
"Maybe I do. What's it to you?" he says, sprawling out across the bed. I tentatively sit next to him.
"Oh nothing. It's not like I'm the girl who you don't want to give pants to." I say, leaning over him playfully. I'm about to pull away, but instead Mitch grabs me by the waist and pulls me down beside him. I'm paralyzed by the closeness, forgetting how it felt like to be in his arms.He pulls my chin up so he can softly kiss my lips, and I come to my senses by wrapping my arms gently around his neck. He pulls away, grinning.
"I missed you." he whispers before sliding off the bed. The tease. I sit up and get off with him, standing there awkwardly and slightly winded.
"Can I change now?" I ask.
"Oh yeah. Sure." he says, pulling out a large red long sleeve and handing it to me. "This should be long enough." He smirks. I roll my eyes, taking it and retreating to the bathroom.
Mitch's POV:
Ashley comes back into the bedroom minutes later, looking very red-faced.
"What happened?" I ask. I finished getting dressed and brushing my teeth a while ago, so now I sit on my bed with my phone in one hand, and my arm behind my head.
"I, erm, ran into Jerome on my way here." she says, blushing even more. I chuckle, and she glares at me.
"Y'know, it's awkward enough around here, you're only adding to it by not allowing me to wear any pants." she grumbles, sitting down next to me.
"Well then next time bring your own pants." I say, wrapping my arm around her.
"You know what? I will." she says, leaning her head against my side.
"Good luck with that." I say, looking down on her. When I do, I notice a familiar looking silver necklace she's wearing. As I look closer, I remember where I've seen it before. She follows my gaze and blushes. I smile at her.
"You're adorable." I say, picking up the charm and twiddling it in my fingers. She blushes even deeper.
"I know, I'm lame." she says, looking down at the charm.
"No, I think you're cute." I say, picking up her chin and kissing her. She kisses back, and lays her hands softly on my chest. We continue to kiss, not breaking away, and her hands move further up until they're at my neck. I press her closer to me, shifting my position so I was almost completely on top of her.
It feels amazing, and I briefly consider making a move on her, but I quickly decide not to. I wasn't ready yet, and I doubted she was either. I'm about to pull away, but she beats me and smiles just as she does.
"Finally no interruptions, for once." she says.
"Yeah, that's because Jerome has something to keep him busy." I laugh, finally letting go and laying beside her. "And so do I." I put my arm around her shoulder and she lays her head on me.
"Beats being home." she mumbles into my chest. I smile. Just then, my phone buzzes, and I pull it out. It's a text from Jerome.
Getting some tonight, Mitch? ;)
I groan.
"We spoke too soon." I say, before replying to him with a simple Fuck you. I keep my phone out, and decide to scroll through Twitter. Ashley does the same, and we go on, not speaking, for about ten minutes.
