Jerome's POV:

Mitch didn't come back last night after picking Ashley up at work, so I assumed he stayed over her house. Still, he wasn't answering his texts, so I decided to call Ashley.

The phone rings a few times before someone picks up.

"Duherro?" Mitch's voice answers. I smirk when I hear how upbeat and out of breath his voice sounds.

"Hey G. I take it you're over Ashley's?" I ask obviously.

"Yeah, and I'm still here." he says.

"Well, not to interfere with your fun, but I don't know if you recall we were supposed to record today." Although I can't see Mitch, I know from the tone of his voice and the way that he talks, he lost his virginity last night. I'm sure of it. How? I don't really know. I guess I've just known him long enough to tell.

"Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Could she-" Mitch says, ignoring half of what I said. I cut him off before he can say anymore.

"Sure. And Mitch-" I pause, unsure of what to say. "you're still a virgin, right?" I blurt it out, and I'm afraid he's going to think I'm crazy, or that I'm just being a jag and rubbing it in his face. Louise, who's next to me, gives me a strange look, but I ignore her. I think for a second that maybe I'm wrong, but his silence on the other end tells me otherwise.

"Oh my god you didn't. Mitchell Hughes finally lost his virginity? Holy crap, wait until the boys find out about this one..." I say, my excitement getting the best of me. It was weird knowing my best friend was no longer a virgin. Even weirder, he lost it last night. To my other friend, who was also a virgin.

"Jerome, don't you dare...just shut up, okay?" he says, sounding flustered and embarrassed. "just talk to Ashley." I laugh, and try to keep my voice steady. I look over to Louise, who's face is full of shock.

"Hello?" she asks warily.

"Oh hey Ashley." I say, unable to keep the smile of amusement off my face.

"What do you want Jerome?" Ashley sighs. I wonder if she heard me before.

"Yeah, love you too. I want Mitch actually, but I guess if you already have him that's fine..." I let the joke slip. I can practically see the blush on her face as i say it.

"Shut up Jerome." she says tightly. I laugh.

"No, but seriously. Mitch needs to get his ass over here and record. You can come too, if you want, but I hope you know what'll happen if you do." I say, referring to the amount teasing both she and Mitch will receive.

"Sure, but I'm not talking to you when we get there." I laugh, and I can hear Mitch on the other line is laughing as well.

"So be it." I say, and she hangs up. I put my phone down, and Louise raises her eyebrows at me, still looking shocked.

"Mitch was a virgin?" she asks.

"Yeah, until last night." I chuckle. "It took him long enough." Louise gives me a disapporving look.

"You're not going to tell everyone, are you?" she says, crossing her arms. I hesitate, and she looks at me in disbelief.

"Oh come on, Jerome! Give the guy his privacy for crying out loud." she says. I chuckle.

"Alright, fine I will." I say, sitting down. She sits beside me and is about to say something, but I cut her off by jumping up and running out of the room.

"GUYS GUESS WHAT?!?!" I yell as I get into the hallway. I hear several "what's" and Adam and Quentin poke their heads out of their rooms.

"Jerome stop!" Louise yells behind me. She starts toward me, and I try and get away, but she jumps onto my back and covers my mouth. I laugh, holding her up and looking for a place to put her down. Quentin and Adam look at us questionably, and Louise blushes as she realizes how stupid the two of us must look. I take that as an advantage, and pry her fingers off my mouth.

"MITCH-" I start, but she snaps back to focus and clamps her hand back over my mouth. I walk forward, and I see a couch I can drop her on. I charge forward, feeling her grip tighten. When i'm close enough, I swing her over my shoulder and drop her on the couch.

"Jerome!" she squeals. I laugh, and I'm about to run off yet again, but I feel bad so I lean over her on the couch.

"Sorry about that. You ok?" I half-laugh, offering my hand. She glares at me, but takes it, and I pull her up. Once she's standing, she doesn't let go of it and gives me a warning look. Just then, Adam and Quentin warily walk into the room.

"Uh...what the fuck just happened?" Adam asks. Louise tenses, as if ready to smack me in the face to keep my mouth shut.

"Why don't you ask Mitch?" I say, walking away as if nothing had happened. I'm not even discouraged by my almost-news.
