Mitch's POV:
While Ashley gets her clothes on, I check my phone, not bothering to put anything on other than my shirt. Normally I would, but this morning, I woke up so...relaxed. It didn't even bother me that I had just lost my virginity. In fact, I was quite happy about it.
Last night was interesting, but amazing all the same. Neither of us knew what we were doing, so we laughed a lot. Thankfully, Ashley had condoms for some weird reason, and when I asked she just shrugged and blushed profusely.
Now that's she's fully clothed and on the bed next to me, I decide to try and ask again.
"Hey Ash," I say. She looks up from her phone to look at me.
"Yeah?" she asks. I hesitate, not wanting to ruin her good mood. Well, it's now or later.
"Why did you have those condoms last night?" I blurted out. Thankfully, it came out curious, rather than accusing. All the same, she looked stunned by the question and blushed.
"Well, I uh...I went to the store the other day, and I um, I-I wanted to be, you know, prepared, for when..." she stutters, trailing off. I can't hold back the wide smile that creeps up onto my face. She was avoiding eye contact, and with every word her face would get redder and redder. She was too cute.
The cuteness ends when she sees the expression on my face. She punches me and turns around, muttering a quiet "Shut up." I just laugh and attempt to put my arms around her, but she just shrugs them off.
"What did I do?" I ask, putting my hands up in defense. She rolls her eyes at me.
"You're making fun of me, you jag." she says, pulling out her phone.
"What? Me?" I say, grinning. "Why would I ever do such a thing?" She rolls her eyes again, this time completely ignoring me and concentrating on her phone screen. I'm not ready to give up yet, so I inch closer to her, although not touching her body. I peer over onto her phone screen, and see she's on Instagram, looking through the #mashley tag. When she notices I'm looking, she pulls her phone away quickly, turning it off and whirling around to face me, her face flushing slightly. I grin at her, amusement showing on my face.
"Oh come on, like you haven't looked through that tag before." she mumbles. I want to say something to contradict that statement, but the truth is I actually have looked through that tag.
"I don't know what you're talking about." I say, avoiding her gaze. She smirks.
"Oh really? 'Cause it seems to me like I'm not the only lame one around here." she says, raising her eyebrow. I pretend to look away, but then I take her by the waist and flip her over me, making her land next to me on the bed. She screams and laughs as she's airborne, dropping her phone next to me, and landing with a soft thud, a series of giggles erupting from her mouth.
"What was that for?" she asks, calming down. I shrug.
"I don't know. I guess you were right- you're not the only lame one around here." I say, smirking, before attacking her with a series of tickles.
Ashley's POV:
I had been casually scrolling through Instagram before Mitch decided to invade my privacy, throw me up in the air, and start tickling me.
He had me pressed up against the pillows, laughing hysterically and struggling for air. I tried to fight back, but every time I raised my arms, it would backfire and I would be forced to retract them in a rage of giggles. I vaguely recalled how ticklish Mitch was, and I knew if I could just get away, I would be able to get the advantage.
"No, no! Please, I fan!" I breathe. "I surrender!" I can tell Mitch doesn't buy it, but he releases me nonetheless. Unfortunately, he doesn't get off me. I push lightly at his chest, but he doesn't budge. A playful look gleams in his eyes.
"I surrendered. You're supposed to let me go." I say. trying to move away, but he just pulls me right back and smirks.
"You didn't think it'd be that easy, did you? I have a price, you know." he says, leaning closer. My breathing comes out quicker, nervous as to what he could possibly want, but then I get an idea. As he climbs over me, he leave his armpits exposed, so I take the opportunity. I start tickling him, taking him off-guard, and flip him over so I'm half-sitting on top of him. I enjoy my dominance for about five seconds before he tackles me with his strength, yet not quite pinning me down. I make the mistake of leaving my sides exposed, and he takes that as an opportunity to take the advantage. Instead of allowling myself to be pulled back under again, I manage to get myself off the bed. As soon as my feet touch the floor, I make my escape and bolt out of the room. Of course Mitch follows, and I get as far as the couch before he tackles me yet again. I scream and begin laughing yet again, but my sides are spared by the ring of my phone. Mitch pulls back, grinning.
"Saved by the phone." he says, helping me up and following me into the other room. When I look at the caller ID, it's a number I don't recognize. I'm about to answer it when Mitch grabs the phone out of my hand and puts it to his ear.
"Duherro?" he answers. I giggle, and he winks at me. He sits down on the bed while the person on the other end talks. i try and grab the phone from him, but he holds me back.
"Yeah, and I'm still here." he says. I'm afraid who he's talking to, or what he's going to tell them.
"Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Could she-?" Mitch continues. Then he's silent for a second, and his ears turn pink.
"Jerome, don't you dare...just shut up, okay?" he says, a little flustered. "Talk to Ashley." I was both relieved and scared when Mitch said Jerome's name, but now I was more scared. I cautiously took my phone from Mitch's hand and pressed it to my ear.
"Hello?" I say.
"Oh hey Ashley." Jerome says. I can tell he's smiling on the other end.
"What do you want Jerome?" I sigh. He chuckles.
"Yeah, love you too. I want Mitch actually, but I guess if you already have him that's fine..." he trails off, and I feel the blood rush to my face.
"Shut up Jerome." I say. He laughs.
"No, but seriously. Mitch needs to get his ass over here and record. You can come to, if you want, but I hope you know what'll happen if you do." Jerome says, in a sort of taunting tone. "We could record mini-games."
"Sure, but i'm not talking to you when I get there." I say, and both Mitch and Jerome laugh.
"So be it." he says, and I hang up.
