Chanyeol was sitting patiently in the car with the heater turned on, his gun in one hand, and his cellphone in the other. He had sent his student--a twenty year old Doyoung from the Dholes pack--to scout the perimeters of their territory in Seoul. No other gangs dared to cross their borders because there was always someone on patrol. Sehun took the morning routes, Jongin took the day routes, Junmyeon took the afternoon routes which belonged to Kyungsoo, and Chanyeol took over the late night routes.
He only went to bed in the early morning, when Sehun was reported to be on patrol duty. For the past few days, he and Doyoung had been taking turns doing the patrol on foot while the other waited in the car. Chanyeol wanted his student to be well trained in his position, since he would likely be his replacement if something happened to him.
That was how he saw the younger boys--as replacements. All positions were being trained with the new recruits.
As it neared the time when Doyoung should have been returning, Chanyeol kept an eye out for his student. He spotted him a few feet away, bringing someone towards the car at gun point. The person wore a sweater with the hood on, concealing their features until they were close enough to the car. It wasn't until they were only a few feet away that he noticed it was a woman, a foreign woman. With his gun still aimed at her head and her arms up in surrender, he yanked down the hood of her sweater and she winced, startled.
Chanyeol rolled down the window and gestured to the girl, speaking about her to Doyoung like she wasn't even there. "Who's the girl?" He asked.
"Found her selling drugs in our territory." Doyoung informed. Her face was rather composed, considering there was a gun right next to her head. She was foreign, and probably didn't understand most things they were saying. "Apparently its an initiation test for The Panthers."
An amused smile formed on Chanyeol's lips. "Oh, you mean the kittens." He corrected. The Panthers were a small organized crime group--which was composed solely and entirely of women. Many of the surrounding gangs in the area were composed of men, and they didn't find the panthers to be very threatening.
In a matter of seconds, she was able to tip the scales in her favor. She grabbed his wrist that was holding the gun and twisted it until she was able to take it from him. In the same movement, she knocked him down onto his knees in front of her. Now she had his own gun pointed at him. Through gritted teeth, she made her demand. "Let me go right now, or this boy dies."
Chanyeol watched her unimpressed. The new change of events had done nothing to faze him.
"Hyung." Doyoung hissed. "Help me."
"You don't have the balls, kitten." Chanyeol teased.
"Wrong thing to say." She shook her head at him. She then cocked the gun and without hesitation pulled the trigger.

"Our winter time act has just arrived." A casino worker informed Zhang Yixing at his office. While the other members of the coven had returned to China, he had been asked to stay and watch over the business. But he couldn't complain. It was better than patrolling the crime ridden streets of Beijing at night.
Yixing nodded and stood up from his desk chair.
Their newest act for the winter was a woman named Lee Eunsoo, with the stage name Silver, who was trying to make it big in the music industry. Her jazz-like voice was only momentarily serving her to get temporary gigs at hotels and casinos. She had been recommended by one of the casino's managing staff which took care of the business year round while the coven was away in China. She would be at the casino for the entire month of December, and part of January. She would be there to sing holiday music with a jazz vibe.
