"Guess what?" I heard Luke's cheerful voice say on the other line.
"What?" I said with a lot of curiosity in my voice.
"Michael and I are switching to your school!"
A smile creeped on my face and I said,"That's awesome! How come though?" I'm really relieved, and eager that he's coming, but it's our senior year and it must've been really hard to switch.
"Well, you know me and Michael hate our school, so our parents agreed to let us switch! It took a lot of persuading. " It's true. Ever since I had become friends with Michael and Luke they wouldn't stop going on and on, about how much they hated their school. See, Ashton used to live in Melbourne. But, his parents had to move here to Sydney. He had already known Luke and Michael, and he was suppose to go to their school, but since my school is closer to where he lives, they put him in my school, which is one of the main reasons Michael and Luke hate their school, is because Ashton was suppose to go their school.
"That's wonderful!I can't wait. " A little chuckle escaped my mouth.
"Oh and also, are you free tonight?I have a surprise for you. " I could almost hear him blushing from the other end.
"Yeah, as a matter a fact I am. " I never really did anything on Fridays, unless I went over to Rose's house.
"Great. Pick you up at 7. "

I didn't know what to expect from this surprise, so I decided to dress comfortable in jeans and a shirt, which is really perfect for any occasion. I hear the door knock and my heart leaps as I quickly get to the front door to greet Luke.
"Come on, " Luke says smiling and pulling my hand. I close the door behind me, without notifying my mom I went out, so I quickly sent her a text.
"Luke," I whined " You know I don't like surprises. "
"You'll like this one I promise. "
The drive seemed to last quite a long time, because by now it was already 8.
"Jesus Christ Luke, where are we going?"
"I know it's kind of far away, but you'll like it, and I can guarantee that. " I stared up at the moon, with its light grazing over deserted area we seemed to be going.
"And here we are," We had arrived at a beach, completely deserted and discreet. The beach gave me some weird chills down my spine, but it was great being alone. The tide wasn't heavy at all, and the moon light gleamed over the ocean water. The stars reflected off of the water just perfectly, making it look like the water was glittering. I had always been interested in the night sky. Some day I dream of going up to the wheat hills where it's completely abandoned, where no one goes. Away from the city, and all street lights, just to watch the galaxy flow over to put me in a trance. Calum knew that, but of course we never got around to do so.
I was too busy observing the sky to notice Luke, setting up a blanket and some food. He knew just how to make a girl feel nice. "Luke, this is amazing. "
"Thanks, I kind of needed to ask some of your friends for help. Including that next door neighbor of yours, is it Kevin?Calum? Ah yes, Calum. " Calum helped him? Well I wouldn't be surprised, he out of all people know me the best. I sat down next to Luke on the blanket, eating away the sandwiches he had brought. By the time we were satisfied, we lay together with my head in his chest, gazing at the stars above us.
"Gosh, I just love the sky. Don't you?"
"I know, it's pretty amazing how this is all real. " I looked up at Luke and smiled, and he smiled back down at me. I felt my eyes move to look at his lips that have a piercing on the corner. I pulled myself up towards his face, and gave a light peck on his lips.
All of this was suddenly interrupted by a car parking behind us and a rude voice popped out of no where, "Mind if we join?" I whipped around to Calum holding his hand right onto Melanie's.
My eyes darkened with enragement, and my teeth clenching on each other. Luke put a hand on me, signaling everything was going to be alright and for me to calm down. "What are you guys doing here?"
"Oh I heard about this date, and thought it would be awesome to hang out with some of my friends. All of us together. " Calum clearly knew what he was doing to me, because he would never sound so satisfied.
"Or should I leave you two alone?"
"No it's okay, you guys can stay. " Luke said with a soft toned voice. I smiled at him, appreciating his kindness and admiring how great of a person he is.
Calum and Melanie sat by me, and were whispering in each other's ears causing themselves to giggle a lot. They started to get in a even more heated conversation, and started to kiss very passionately and slowly making sure it stung my heart in the right places.
I snuggled harder into Luke's chest, as we started to point at the shining sky with our fingertips. This night would've been perfect, if Calum and Melanie hadn't shown up.
I wanted the night to end, but at the same time I didn't.
