*Calum's POV
Melanie's hands clutched onto mine as we strolled into class, making our way to the back where we liked to sit for some privacy. Once we sat down, her lips came onto mine giving a tender touch, then quickly came back to her chair so the teacher wouldn't catch us. This happened very often, us stealing sneaky kisses. Melanie and I never really had much in common. Except for the fact that we are both popular, and that both of us do sports. Most of the time when Melanie talked to me, it was the same old useless gossip.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Sarah and Luke sit in the table next to me. Luke? What was he doing here? From my knowledge, Luke didn't go to our school. I saw then exchange smiles, looking deeply and happily into each other's brightly lit up eyes. Sarah's hand tracing circles onto the back of his hand, as they engaged in a deep conversation. A part of me got really envious, watching them connect and share laughter. Melanie and I don't really have that. Sarah's sense of humor to brighten someone's day, and her ways of making you feel wanted in this world, is really something all someone ever needs in this world. I want her. And I want her bad. But, I can only take out my desires on Melanie.
I felt Sarah taking a peak at me, and I also noticed Melanie noticing that too. Melanie pulled me into a kiss, our lips moving in sync. I knew what this was doing to Sarah. So why not do more of it, to let her know what she missed. We pulled away and me and Melanie gave Luke and Sarah an evil smirk. Both of us thought of the same things, so we turned to each other and nodded ourselves in agreement. The game was on.
All of us had PE together, so that was the golden hour to make our moves. I did just about everything, I pulled Melanie under the bleachers for a heated make out, my hand would occasionally move down to her bum, and I placed my hand on her thigh when we were getting divided into teams for soccer. I used to place my hand on Sarah's thighs a lot, and she liked it, though she is self conscious about her body.
To my luck, I was placed on a team with Luke, and Sarah was with Melanie. Melanie was throwing the ball in, and it smacked Sarah on the side her head, knocking her down. Something inside me got triggered, because next thing I know I was next to her, resting her head in my hand. Luke also had rushed over to help, and the both of us popped the same question,"Sarah, are you alright?" Her forest green eyes, slowly fluttering open.
"Ow. " She said and putting her hand to the back of her head where mine was causing an electric like feel to shoot down our bodies. Her eyes met mine, and I could see the pain that she was in, making my eyes look like they have deep sympathy for her. Then she looked at Luke, slowly starting to stand up, then crashing her body on his into a hug filled with warmth. Though this was no kissing, it hurt my heart way more than it did if it was me and Melanie. What they had was real, and seemed to be irreplaceable at the moment.
"Why don't I take her to the office?I was the one that hit her. " Melanie said behind me sounding fed up. Oh no, this is a bad idea.
"I could take her instead." I blurted out not wanting Melanie and Sarah in the same room.
"How about me?She does like me better, as a matter of fact. " Luke added on after me.
"Melanie you take her. Boys, get back to the game. " Luke and I gave each other unlikable glares as we had to continue with the game.
