The boy next door (Calum Hood fic)

Chapter 15

Music class was always my favorite class, until now. I take music with Calum, where he plays the bass and I play the guitar. With every note he hits, it sends a signal to my heart to match the rhythm. We, unfortunately have to sit next to each other. Where most of the time, I'm praying I won't skip a note or accent. There was a lot of tension, and awkwardness between us that meant, more rapidness to my heart beat. Occasionally, I would switch instruments. Like to piano, or clarinet.

"Do you need to tune?" Me and Calum's eyes met. I looked back at my paper, studying the song and ignoring him.

"Fine. " He said with a harsh tone.

This was my last class of the day, and like usual everyone rushed to put their instruments away to meet their friends as quickly as they could. My teacher had left to go to her private office, which left me alone in the quiet room. I grabbed the tuner that Calum had left on his stand, and started tuning. I noticed Calum left his bass there. Great, now I would have to put it away again.

The door closed behind me, leaving me alone in the instrument room. I stood there for a while, feeling a presence behind me. I slammed into someone's chest, and looked up to find that it was Calum.

"Jesus Christ Calum, you scared me. "

"Sorry, I just wanted to see if my bass was in here. "

"Yeah, speaking about that you need to start putting your instrument away more. "

"Why would I need to do that if I know you're going to put it away anyway?" I managed a slight smile.

"Listen Sarah, I'm sorry that you had to see that the other day. " My face turned back to a straight look.

"Apology, not accepted. "

"Listen Sarah, please just accept it. " He said loudly, now hovering over me with his hand above my head against the wall.

"Calum please st-" I was interrupted by his lips slamming into my mouth, forcing his tongue inside. His arm snaked around my waist, as he continued to force the kiss on me. I tried, and tried to get him off of me but he was too powerful, and strong compared to me. He kept me pinned there, but I refused to kiss back. All of this made me uncomfortable, and I just wanted it to stop. My feelings for Calum were over. I tried forcing words out, and moving, but he just wouldn't budge. His hot kisses, moved down to my neck and I started hitting him and saying, "Stop," "Get off of me!"

"Just shut up. " I couldn't help but melt into his mouth, making disliking this really hard.

"This is rape you know!" Then he finally stopped sucking on my neck and looked at me, but leaving no exit for me to leave.

"Come on Sarah, you know you like it. "

"No I actually don't! You have a girlfriend. And I like someone else. So leave me alone, and stop trying to ruin everything just because I might finally be happy!" I lied, I wasn't happy. I had practically been ignoring everyone lately.

"You know Melanie means nothing to me!And Luke only wants to get inside your pants, which he did. He doesn't like you Sarah. Get over it. " The words pierced through me and made my eyes sting.

"Why can't you accept the fact that Luke is a nice person and my friend!I should have never told you about him in the first place and how we're friends. You are not my only guy friend you know?Finally, guys are starting to like me and I'm liking it. Just because I was never such a well liked person by everyone like you, doesn't mean things don't change!So please Calum, just do us all a favor and leave me alone. " A tear ran down my cheek, followed by another and another. His warm brown eyes, turned into watery cold brown eyes.

I burst out of the compressed room, and ran straight home. When everything was disturbed by a phone call from Luke.
