*Sarah's POV
My head was laid on top of a warm chest, whose heart I could feel beating, and the noises the stomach made. I looked up at the angelic face of Calum Hood sound asleep. I poked him on the nose and said with a sickly like tone,"Good morning. "
His brown, glittering eyes opening slowly, then suddenly opening wide with realization that we had school today. "Shit! We're going to be so late for school. "
I panicked a bit and turned to my bedside table where my phone lay, and saw the numbers across the screen: 9:30. "Fuck! We're already late!"
"My parents are going to kill me," He shaked his head and put his face in his hands. "Do you want to just blow it off?"
"We can't, midterms are coming up. " I said disappointingly. I don't want to go back to that pitiful school, where everyone creates as many lies as they can to go through the day.
"Well I can't go back to my house, my parents will freak. "
"It's fine, you can just stay here. I'm going to get changed," I faced my closet and saw a shirt lying on the floor I picked it up and said,"Hey, this is yours. You can wear it, I promise it's clean. "I chuckled.
"Okay, but don't look. " He said sarcastically, then pulled his shirt off revealing his toned torso, I couldn't help but stare. My eyes trailed down to his v line, and he said,"Enjoying yourself?"
I hadn't realized I stared for too long and shook my head and said,"Sorry, but now you can't look. " I smiled at him then he laughed at me. I walked into my closet, not closing it all the way hoping he'd peak through. I ripped off my shirt, and picked the bra that was off of the floor, clasping it in the back and pulling it slowly on my shoulders. I could feel his eyes staring into my back, and smirked at the thought. Then I quickly, put on a shirt and some jeans.
"Enjoying yourself too?" I laughed at the sight of him with his mouth slightly open.
"I-uh- sorry," I laughed at his vulnerability. I went over to him and gave him a quick hug before pulling my hair into a pony tail, and rubbing my eyes.
"Okay, well meet me in front of my house, so we can walk to school together and quickly grab some breakfast. " His gaze and smile hadn't moved from me. "Now go!" I laughed and playfully pushed him towards the window he had climbed through slickly last night.
He was starting to go down the ladder but then stopped himself and said,"But one more thing. " He kissed my cheek, as I was kneeled against the window frame holding the ladder. The feeling caused me to smile even more, and I said,"Okay Calum there's no time to play around, we're going to be late!" The two of us smiled at each other, and blushed.
I sat at my front steps, running scenarios through my mind with Calum. He made me feel wanted, and loved. The way we were so playful around each other, not caring what people thought. We've never really had the talk about being in a relationship, which we should, because I don't want our inseparable bond to break. We both knew we wanted each other, but it's never became official. I've heard many stories, of best friends who dated and their relationship was just never the same. I don't want that happening with me and Calum, especially since we've known each other for so long, and how we grew so fond of each other. The feelings that lied beneath me couldn't help but spark every time I saw him.
I saw him making his way towards my house, and we smiled at each other.
"Ready to go?"
"Always," He put his arm around me and I wrapped my arms around him, trying to walk at the same time. The sudden thought came across my mind, why isn't he bawling over Melanie?
