They Left Me...
It's certain to see
They are gone and I'm all I can beIn silent screams,
I watched my hopes and dreams disappear
but when morning came I still had to appearThe flashbacks reoccurr and fate took it's turn
I notice I'm the only one left, I remember them as thefts
Who broke my heart and watched it sore
As it asked for nothing in returnI don't remember who I am
And I don't remember where I stand
It was hundreds of us until oneday it
was just me
I watch you leave but it never becomes easyPeople keep bringing you up
I don't ever interupt
We never kept in touch
And then I remember it allOver
Again
As I plead from my eyes
The gulit in my mind
The hope that I once had
To be your friend again at lastAs I watch your life in past memories
Just like I paint our favorite months
And feel you slowly forget me
When we thought we could be freeBut if freedom is missing you
Then I am free
Because I never can quite forget
The day you said goodbye to me
