*Readers POV*
I panicked as I flew through the air. I braced myself for the hard ground but was met with cold water. It soaked through everything and a set a chill into my bones. The pond had filled quiet a bit considering the recent summer rains we've had.
I swam up and gasped for air while coughing up water. Charlie, along with Ron, Fred, George, and even Bill, were doubled over with laughter. Ginny and Hermione rushed over and offered me a hand each. I swam over and took them gratefully, letting them pull me onto the grassy bank. Mrs. Weasley rushed over, pulling out her wand. She gave me a sympathetic look and muttered a spell under her breath. A small woosh of air engulfed me and left me completely dry. I stood, "Thank you Molly."
"I'm so sorry Y/N!" She cried.
"I'm fine, honest." I promised. She nodded then turned to the group of boys that were still laughing hysterically.
"Charles Weasley! How dare you mistreat our guest!" She shrieked. Charlie quickly sobered up at the use of his real name.
"Mum, I just-"
"No excuses! Go apologize. Now!"
Charlie shook his head but walked over to me. I placed my hands on my hips and tilted my head. He grinned a bit.
"Dearest Y/N- My utmost apologies for mistreating you." He said, adding a small, sarcastic bow.
I smiled.
"I accept you're apology, Charles. But I advise you to do nothing of the sort ever again. Because I may have to do something like this."
I quickly shoved him backwards. He tried to recover but slipped on the slick bank and fell into the pond.
The others(not including Percy ,Mrs. Weasley and Hermione) were doubled over in laughter. Charlie surfaced and spit out a stream of muddy water.
"Y/L/N!" He shouted, swimming towards the bank.
"Weasley!" I mocked before turning back to towards the house. The girls caught up to me. Ginny was still giggling. Hermione had a worried look on her face.
"What's wrong 'Mione?" I asked, laughing.
She furrowed her brow.
"It's just that one of you could have gotten hurt. Charlie didn't know if there were grindylows in there, or how deep it was. What if you couldn't swim? What if you had hit your head? You would've drowned, then-"
"-Fred would've killed Charlie after rescuing her." Ginny smirked.
"I'm sure your mum would've got to him first." I said briskly.
Ginny rolled her eyes.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing. Nothing." She sighed dramatically. I turned to Hermione who was smirking.
"What?" I asked again, irritated.
"It's just that, well, everyone knows you and Fred have a thing."
"What? No we don't." I felt my cheeks heat up.
"Sure." Ginny snorted as we entered the house.
"We don't!"
"Who doesn't what?" A voice asked behind us.
Fred had walked in with George.
"We don't have our school supply lists. Ginny said that we did and Y/N was saying we didn't, which is true, we haven't gotten them yet." Hermione said convincingly. Ginny smirked even wider at her quick lie.
"I'm always right Gin." I reminded her as I sat down next to Hermione. She rolled her eyes and took a seat next to me.
Soon the whole family was seated and eating at the small table. I chatted to Hermione about the classes we were going to take and about Quidditch with Ginny.
"It'd be wonderful if we could go to the world cup, since its being held close this year but, you know..." She trailed off sadly.
I shrugged but was secretly dying to go,"We'll have enough games to watch at school."
"I'm not so sure about that." Mumbled Charlie, who had been listening. I was about to ask what he was talking about when a loud pop! was heard from outside.
Mr. Weasley rushed in with a red, grinning face. He threw down his case and rushed up to Mrs. Weasley laughing. Everyone watched with confused faces as he kissed his wife's cheek while still chuckling madly.
"Dad? Is everything all right?" Ron asked hesitantly.
"Everything is grand Ron!" He exclaimed sitting at the front of the table and loading food onto his plate.
"Do you have anything to tell us, dear?" Mrs. Weasley asked.
Mr. Weasley dropped his fork and threw up his hands.
"You'll never believe what work gave me!"
"Better not be another bloody car." Ron mumbled, most likely remembering his second year.
"Tickets! Glorious tickets!" He shouted.
"To what?" George asked.
"The cup! The Quidditch world cup!"
The room exploded. Fred and George jumped up, Charlie almost choked on his potatoes, Ginny shrieked rather loudly near my ear and Ron was shouting, "For all of us? Can we take Harry? What about Harry?"
Hermione had a smile on her face while Mrs. Weasley looked indifferent. She never really was into Quidditch like the rest of the family.
"I've got to write Harry! When can we get him?" Ron asked his mum.
"I'm going to write him first. That is, do we have enough tickets, Arthur?" Mrs. Weasley asked her husband.
"Of course! We'll bring Harry! Would you like to go, Molly?" He replied. Mrs. Weasley shook her head immediately.
"Let Y/N have my ticket."
I felt excitement rise up in me when Mr. Weasley nodded his head enthusiastically. I was going to the Quidditch World Cup.
