"First place! Tied for first place, Harry!" Hermione squealed from where she sat in the common room.

The room buzzed with excited chatter and loud laughter. After some discussion down at the lake, the judges decided that Harry staying to rescue Fleur's sister, Gabrielle, had shown great 'moral fiber' and he was awarded forty-five points. The extra points had put him in first place with Cedric. All of Gryffindor was now celebrating with food and butterbeer the twins and Lee had nicked from the kitchens.

The party went on for a few hours. It was now getting late and most of the house had gone to bed. A group of girls chatted in the corner while Fred, George, Lee, Hermione, Harry, Ron, and I sat near the fire.

"It's that moral fiber," Fred snickered for the hundredth time tonight. The twins seemed to find this saying oddly humorous.

"Ha-ha," Harry said sarcastically, even though he was smiling.

"By the way, Harry, thanks for saving us. You too, Ron. Thanks for taking Gabrielle," I told the two boys.

Harry grinned and Ron's ears turned pink. A group of girls had heard what I said and swarmed to Ron, praising his heroic actions.

Harry smiled at the attention his friend was getting before wandering off to talk with George, Hermione, and Lee.

"You never thanked me," Fred whined.

I laughed, "Thank you, Freddie."

"Really? That's it? No, 'Thank you, Fred, for saving my life!' or 'Thank's, Freddie, for pulling me out of a lake!'. Nothing?" He exclaimed dramatically.

I rolled my eyes, "Thank you, Freddie, for saving my life even though McGonagall and Dumbledore were there."

"Sounds a little sarcastic to me," He pouted like a child, crossing his arms.

I chuckled and stood.

"Goodnight, my hero," I leaned down and kissed his cheek before walking up the stairs to my dorm.

Did I really just do that?

With March came drier ground and no more snow. It was still chilly and the wind had a bitter bite to it.

It was Friday afternoon, a couple weeks after the second task and we were in Charms.

"Y/n...psst..." A voice said behind me.

"What?" I whispered back to Amanda Brooks, the chaser for Ravenclaw.

"Here, I think you need to see this..." Something poked me in the back.

I reached my hand back and took whatever she gave me.

I put the magazine on my desk, 'Witch Weekly'.

"The last few pages," She whispered.

"Thanks," I whispered back.

I rifled through the pages until finding the one she was talking about. A colored photo of Harry headed a short piece entitled: Harry Potter's Secret Heartache.

My eyes quickly skimmed through the short article. Rita Skeeter.

She had written another false article, this time about how Hermione had been toying with his affections along with Viktor Krum.
