The stands erupted into a panic. People were soon out of their seats. There was screaming and hysterical sobbing. But nothing compared to Amos Diggory finding his son's lifeless body. The man dropped to his knees, clutching Cedric whilst screaming "MY BOY! NOT MY BOY!"

Dumbledore bent down and pulled an injured and ghastly pale Harry to his feet. Mrs. Diggory had stumbled in a daze through the crowd before falling next to her husband.

In all the chaos and shoving Fred had found my hand and was clutching it very tightly.

I turned to look at him, full of grief for Cedric's parents and heartbroken for his friends, and he pulled me tightly into his chest. As he brushed a shaky hand across my hair, I heard Ron ask, "Where's Mad-Eye taking Harry?"

I could feel Fred stretch onto his tippy-toes, arms still firmly around me, "Dunno, but look- Dumbledore and McGonagall are on his tail. And there's Snape too."

There was a long time where the crowd just sat and watched as teachers hurried around the scene, keeping people away and waiting for further instructions. The mood was somber as silence fell over the stands, except for the consistent sobbing.

Fudge was now stood a little away from the crowd and used his wand to magnify his voice, "If everyone could please calm down. Hogwarts students, please return to the castle. Durmstrang to the ship and Beauxbatons to your carriage."

The crowd slowly began to trudge to their proper places. Except for our group. Mrs. Weasley marched right down to the minister and demanded to see Harry.

"I'm sorry, Molly, but it's family only-"

"Now he's done it." Ron whispered.

"WE ARE HIS FAMILY!" She shouted, "Every Christmas! Every holiday! Every birthday! He spends it with us! You cannot stand there and tell me that is not my son! Now, where is he?!"

Fudge's face had gone very red and he was about to say something else when McGonagall emerged back onto the field and called for our group to follow her and a large black dog to the hospital wing.

Madam Pomfrey was rushing around, mixing potions and administering them to a figure laying on the bed. A frail, starved-looking Mad-Eye Moody.

When Pomfrey turned around and saw us all standing in the corner of the room she immediately looked very frazzled and exclaimed, "Out! Some of you need to leave!"

"We'll go, Madam Pomfrey," I told her, gesturing to the twins and Lee.

On our way out I whispered to Ron, "Just make sure they take care of him, 'eh?"

He nodded and I ran to catch up with the boys.

The rest of the month flew by. Dumbledore had forbidden anyone from talking to Harry about what had happened, but rumors flew. Classes were devoid of work as everyone still struggled to comprehend exactly what had happened.

I had just finished packing my trunk when Alicia poked her head into the room, "Hey, Y/n, we're going down to the feast. You comin'?"

I nodded and met them down in the common room.

"So much has happened this year," Katie sighed.

"How are things going with Lee?" Angelina asked.
