Chapter Fourteen
Harry's POV.
I tilted my head back against the wall behind me and wheezed out a breath. I - we - had been sitting in the lounge room for the past thirty minutes, waiting for Lauren, her team and Modest to come out of the back room. Whatever it was that they had discovered took ages to discuss, and saying that the curiosity was killing me would be an understatement.
Finally the door slid open, them coming out one after another. Lauren and her squad were the last to appear by the opening of the lounge.
"We'll be going for now," I heard the blonde, I reckon his name was James, say. Paul called for the bus to halt, but the four of them waved their hands dismissively.
"No need," the other male spoke up. "We'll exit through the roof, our ride is right above us." I knew they were spies and all - to be honest I was pretty impressed - but this seemed to be a little on the show-off side, even to me.
As they sauntered off to the front of the bus, they said their farewells to us lot. I nodded in response and went back to flipping through my twitter feed. The amount of people commenting on my "cute yet mysterious" message during the previous concert made me frown, and I quickly turned off my screen. Our fans weren't stupid; they probably already had a hunch something was going on.
I paused my thoughts to let a massive yawn out, the umpteenth in the past minute. My brain was pretty much dead right now; I decided to give the whole situation a rest until the morning even though I was dying to find out what they had unraveled. It was close to midnight after all.
"I'm going to bed," I announced, and made my way to the bunk beds. The last thing I heard before unconsciousness overtook me was somebody scrambling up to the bed above mine.

"Harry!" Someone shook me rather violently, forcing me to wake up.
"What?" I groaned, turning over. I could feel that I'd gotten way too little sleep to be able to function properly.
"We're here in Peru now!" I recognised the voice to be Lauren's. She seemed to be oddly excited. "Get up Harry! It'd ten o'clock already." The realisation that they had found something - anything - made the day seem brighter, and I forced my eyelids open.
"Alright, I'm up." I gave in and lifted my head from the warm pillow. "And I'm starving."
She laughed and handed me a t-shirt. "Then you better get dressed. Everyone else have already checked into the hotel." Whoa. Where had our brothership gone?
"I'm coming."

Luckily we made it to the catering before everyone else had finished eating. I couldn't help but notice the shift in atmosphere. It had changed to the better, an unmistakable positivity hanging in the air, making the sun seeming to shine extra vividly. That was however, slightly altered when Paul caught all of our attention.
"If all of you boys could come to my room right after breakfast, like an assembly if you like, it would be highly appreciated. We have some information to share with you, as well as some... rules."
"Rules?" Liam questioned. Paul held a hand up, stopping further words from being spoken out loud. "We'll take all the questions then."
Just like that, the mind of every single member of a band sitting around the long, rectangular table fell deep in thought. Because we were, in fact, the only ones that didn't have a clue of what had happened last night. It was about time we were let into this mystery. It was about us after all.
