"Can I come inside?" Zander said.

"Yes of course, how long have you been out here?" I asked. I opened the door more so he could come in, he did.

"About 20 minutes."

"You're soaking wet," I went to go put a towel in the dryer so it's warm. "do you want tea or coffee?"

"Tea please."

"Ok, I'll be right back." He set the teddy bear on the couch and I went to the towel closet and grabbed the fluffiest towel. I put it in the dryer then went to the kitchen and put turned the water on. I grabbed a black mug and a grey mug.

"Which one do you want?" I asked.

"Black please." Zander said taking a little time to decide. He sat down on the couch next to the teddy bear.

"Ok." I put a tea bay in the black one and instant coffee in the grey one. I went back to the laundry room and grabbed the towel and gave it to him. When the water was done boiling I poured some in both cups and put creamer and sugar in the grey one. I gave the black one to him and sat down next to him.

"Why where you out there in the rain not using your umbrella?" I asked, I was asking a lot of questions.

"I was protecting your present." He said.

"You are more important to me than a stuffed bear." I giggled.

"That hurt my feelings." He said in a funny voice making the bear look like it was talking. I giggled again.

"I'm sorry Mr.Bear but I love Zander more."

"Well I love you too." Zander didn't use a silly voice this time. I took a sip of my coffee, it was too bitter.

"I'll be right back, my coffee needs some sugar."

"Ok, I'll wait."  I went to the kitchen and put a spoon full of sugar in my coffee, I tried it, perfect. I went back into the living room and sat down next to him.

"So why did you come here?" Of course I asked another question.

"You weren't answering my text and I got worried."

"I was just thinking and I didn't notice it went off, sorry I made you wait in the rain so long."

"No, it's fine, I'm ok with waiting in the rain if it's for you, anyway here you go." He gave me the bear and it was so fluffy.

"OMG, it's so fluffy I'm going to die." I said.

"Don't die, I would not appreciate it if you died." Zander said being pretty serious but he still was kind of joking around.

"I won't I promise." I kissed his cheek.

"I actually have to go, thanks for the towel and tea but I have a plumber coming to my house."

"Oh, ok, well see you later, I guess."

"Bye, I love you, before I go never keep secrets from me ok?" He gave me the tea and towel, it was wet and cold.

"Ok, I love you."And he was gone just like that, I felt abandoned.
