I was on the train just thinking crying. Is this what a mental break down is. Someone came up to me on the train and just sat next to me and just hugged me, I hugged them back. When I hugged them hey smelled like pine trees and chocolate.
"Zander..." I mumbled.
"Yes my star." Zander said.
"I'm so sorry!"
"It's ok." He just hugged me and I hugged him back, crying.
"How did you know where I was?"
"I was going to the cafe to see if you were there and saw you with I'm guessing your ex."
"Yeah that's Trent, how long were you there?"
"Long enough."
"Oh, I'm so sorry."
"It's ok you did the right thing."
"Thank you." And then I kissed him, a quick peck but it was a needed peck. Then we just leaned on each other shoulders while the train was riding quick and soundless on the tracks. I was so happy with him, I needed him. When the train stopped we went to his place and I told him story with Trent, he needed to know. He said he didn't really have a crazy ex which was kind of weird but I guess that's a good thing.
"How many girlfriends have you had?" I asked.
"I haven't really had any, waiting for the right person I guess." That made me smile, I got this feeling in stomach that I've only had with Trent and that made me worried. I don't want to fall in love with Zander, what if he's like Trent sweet then sour.
"Ummm... I need to go." I said, I'm not falling in love.
"Why, you just got here." Zander said concerned.
"I just got to go, my mom just texted me."
"How do you know, you haven't looked at your phone when you were here or on the train."
"I just got to go ok, let me go!" A tear fell down my cheek just then and hugged me.
"It's ok to fall in love, you've got to let your heart fall every now and then even if someone doesn't pick it up, but I will, I can promise you that." I just stared at him and cried but a quiet crying. The kind of crying were tears fall down your face but no sound comes out.
