"Hi, what's your name?" The receptionist asked.
"Adele. Adele Adkins."
She smiled, "Looking for a family member, huh?"
"Yeah, I want to see where my dad is at now."
She searched through some files with a frown on her face, "I don't see anything here right now but I could look a little further. Why don't you give me your number and I'll call when I have more information."
"No problem." Adele nodded and walked out of the building. She had to figure out this mess before her four days were up.

"So now you're going to try and find your dad, when you should be talking to your mom about this whole thing?"
"Simon." Adele sighed and grabbed the pepper from the cupboard. She sat down across from him and began to eat again. "You know I don't want to talk to her." She continued.
"You're going to have to sooner or later." Simon told her.
She faked a smile, "Let's go with later."
"I figured you'd never talk to your dad." He murmured.
"Well...Simon I-"
She cut herself off. She knew he was right in this situation.
"Exactly." He smirked.
The rest of dinner was in silence due to a loss of words. There was nothing she could say anymore.

"Adele."
She turned her whole body to face Simon on the bed.
"What, Si?" she avoided his eyes.
"Look at me." He tilted her head upward by grabbing her chin gently.
She was being forced to look at him. But, she wanted to. She always loved when he did that, because it reminded her that she couldn't be angry at him forever.
"Are you mad?" He asked plainly.
She struggled to find an answer, "No I just-you had-well-
"Yes or no." He interrupted.
"I don't know."
"Well, don't be." He pressed his lips against hers.
All of her problems went away when he kissed her. She wanted this one moment to last forever. All the feelings were right. She knew he cared and loved for her. In this one moment she felt like everything was perfect.
Then he let go.
"I-I needed that." She stuttered.
He chuckled, "I know you did. That's why I did it."
"I'm going to go to the bathroom and take a shower."
"Don't be too long." Simon replied.
She raised her eyebrows, "And why is that?"
"You'll see." He smirked as she shut the door to the bathroom.

She walked out of the long shower she had just taken. She dried her hair first with a towel and as she went to grab the blowdryer to dry it more, she looked in the mirror.
The mirror wasn't clear because of the water vapor, but she could tell there was something behind her. A black figure.
It walked closer to her and grabbed her.
