A/N: This is long, so be prepared.
The bright light hit her hard. She could barely see anything. Her eyes hurt from its luminosity. She knew she had passed away, which caused her to get emotional.
A shadow quickly blocked her path.
"Get away from me! I died, what else do you want from me!" she screamed as it echoed.
She was confused, because she thought that this was heaven, but judging by the vibe she was feeling and the shadow standing in front of her, it wasn't all fun and games.
She noticed an adult figure in the distance, approaching her. The figure eventually became clearer, and she knew it was a man. Then she recognized his face.
"Babe?" Simon said aloud.
Adele turned around quickly, "Simon?"
"It's me, baby." he smiled as he saw Adele's mouth wide open in surprise.
"Simon!" she widened her eyes and tackled him. He hugged her tight and kissed her cheek. When they released, Simon put both of his hands on her cheeks hard and kissed her. It was passionate and heated as Adele's heart skipped a beat. They ended the kiss for a breath.
"Wait!" she turned back quickly to face the shadow, but was glad to see it had disappeared, "Nevermind."
Her joyful tears fell down her cheeks, "How'd you get here?"
"I died for you."
She awed as she placed his hand against her chest, "You didn't have to."
Adele gasped as she felt an unexpected bolt of pain shoot through her body. She felt all the pain center around her stomach as she groaned. She turned her head slightly to see the shadow behind her. She knew it was the one causing the sharp feeling in her stomach.
Eventually the pain stopped as she collapsed on the floor.
"All we wanted was your first-born child, but you had to make it difficult for us, huh?"
She replied weakly, "Who are you?"
"You really want to know?"
She nodded in fear, "I'm your father. You see, your mother made a deal with me a long time ago when I left you behind. She wanted me to spare her life for the life of your first-born child and I thought it was a brilliant idea. I've been haunting your dreams, trying to warn you. But you never listened to me and now I've gone full-blown evil. I'm sorry darling, but this is how it's going to be. I work for someone who will be very happy to receive your child's dead body. Now, this has been a fun game to play, but this trick has been going on far too long."
"Who do you work for?" Adele asked as she tried to sit up.
He chuckled, "That's not important. His name's Alex, that's all you have to know."
Her heart dropped, but she decided to ask one last question, "So, Simon i-is he even real?!?"
The shadow began looking like a human and soon enough, he looked just like Adele's father. Her mouth was wide open as he answered her question, "Sorry to tell you this, but no. He was nothing but a distraction. He's the boss."
She noticed that Simon, (who was really Alex in disguise), was now holding a newborn baby in his arms.
"You tricked me into kissing you?!? You're disgusting!"
Alex handed the baby to her father as he quickly turned back into himself. He zoomed in front of Adele's face and grabbed her neck harshly, "You better hush up, darling. Or I'll put you through worse. Your son is now mine. Deal with it."
