"Congratulations Gabriella!"

I was so happy to see everyone here present on my graduation day. They flew all the way from the Philippines. My family is complete, even ate Carmina and his husband were here. Mom and dad who went with me at the stage to receive my medal were here too.

"Congratulations babe." Maverick who's holding a bouquet of roses went near me and hugged and kissed me in front of my family.

"Thank you."

We celebrated at one of the hotels that mom and dad booked for us. We have dinner then my cousins as usual, ask me out to party. Syempre I went with them. Maverick couldn't let go of our hands, it was sweaty already but we don't really mind it.

I love having him around.

While my cousins are partying and dancing in the middle of the crowd, I was just sitting there with Maverick, enjoying each other's presence and company.

"So babe, what are you planning now? You're going back na ba sa Philippines?"

He asked that a lot of times already, but my answer was always no.

I shook my head "Not yet babe."

"Babe naman." He pouted and caressed my back "You told me after you graduated."

"Oo nga, but that doesn't mean na agad agad. Babe, I need to create my own name first here in New York. This City was known as one of the world's best fashion industries. I will go home once I get my goal here okay?"

He smiled genuinely which I found him super understanding "Okay okay." He raised his hand "Totally defeated."

I chuckled and leaned towards him and kissed him "Wanna go home?"

He smiled sheepishly and nodded his head while snapping the whole out of us.

Maverick and I are active in sexual activities. I remember when we had our first intercourse, he asked if I was a virgin, and I said yes. He was so happy about it that I was his first.

"Hey love birds! Where are you two going?" Miley asked.

"Going home. I am not feeling well." I excused.

She smiled "Aysuuu, if I know!"

We brushed her off and went out of the club. I called mom and dad and said that I'll be meeting them tomorrow. I just want to hang out with my man since I haven't seen him for long.

"You want to go to a coffee shop muna?" He asked which I agreed with.

While we were sipping our coffees, I went back from the time I was so lost. I didn't know exactly what happened to me for about three years. I don't know what course to take, I didn't know where to study. I was just so lost.

But then I find my track by just being true to myself. I forget all the past behind and move forward. I just thank all the people who have been there for me, supported me with all their might and tried their best for me to be on the right track again. When Maverick came, it was like a bonus to me. He makes everything better. My anxieties, my depression went gone because of him.

He was so helpful and very understanding.

"What were you thinking?" Mave asked for my hand and he kissed it.

"Nothing. It was just overwhelming that I have finished my degree."

"What's your plan next?"

"I'll be applying for an internship on some famous and known respectable fashion brands. Then, I'll be putting up my own boutique."
