Good Bye

Astra's Pov

Bella woke me up and was helping me get ready to go to the academy.  We were in the bathroom as Bella helped me take a bath.  Then she gasps and asks me,

"Astra-Sama how did you get a tattoo on your back,"  her hand resting on the spot where the tattoo was.

"What do you mean Bella," I ask giving her a confused look pretending I don't know what she's talking about.  She stares at me for a minute before shaking her head.

"Never mind, perhaps I just missed it before, but I don't see how I possible could," she says before whispering the last part quietly to herself.  I pretend not to hear her since it would be odd that my hearing is better humans when they believe I still am human.  But I couldn't be helped.  After all everyone thought my mother was human like them so naturally they would think the same for me.

After that she helps me climb outing dry myself off.  Then I change into my school uniform and sit down on the bed while Bella drys my hair.  After drying my hair, she puts it up into a ponytail and slightly curls it.  Then finishes it off by adding a blue butterfly hairpin.  

"There, you look absolutely stunning Astra-sama.  Don't go breaking any boys hearts now,"  she says slightly laughing before adding, "On second thought, never mind, you can break their hearts but just make sure they don't break yours and don't let them touch you, okay?"  When she says this I swear I saw an evil smile through the mirror on my wall across my bed. But when I turn around her smile is normal and I shrug.

"You do realize I'm only 4 years old right now, right?"  I thought silently to myself  but tell her,  "I'm pretty sure Ichiro-onii, Kiku-onee, and Ryo-kun won't let anyone near me," I say laughing.  I didn't actually know what classes I would have but since I sealed my spirit rings I know I won't be in any of the same classes as them.  Besides I know everyone will look down upon me because I won't have any.

"That's true.  Plus your father will most likely regret sending you to school," she tells me as we walk down the stairs.  Of course making sure I actually walk and not slide down the railing.  

"Why do you say that?"  I ask her confused.  Sure, father has been overprotective,but so was everyone else.  

"You'll see once you reach the academy.  Spirit Crystal Academy is very famous and many of those who go there became legends you know."  Bella tells me.

We then reach the bottom and everyone was waiting for me.  Father immediately frowns and says, "Go change."

"Huh," I say looking at him confused.

"Why would you say that Akihiko, Astra look so cute in the uniform," Hikari looks the man beside her with a frown.

" That's exactly it. I won't allow any boy to see how cute she is," father says.

The two of them start to argue and Kiku-onee who was beside me whisper in my ear,

"Dad was always like that when I first when to the academy.  Don't worry though, Mom is going to win the argument," and no sooner than she say it father sighs and tells me I can go.

Everyone says goodbye since when going to the academy you live in dorms.  The only reason why Kiku-onee, Ichiro-onii, and Ryo-kun was at home was because right now there is a break.  Apparently they are rarely given breaks so then the students do get one they leave immediately since the academy is in another kingdom.  The trip will take at least one month so the breaks everyone gets to actually spend time with their families is actually very little since they still need to train and the journey takes up most of the three months given.  

It was finally my turn and I already said goodbye to everyone except my brothers, sister, Bella because they were coming with us too.  Two men and one woman is also coming to since they would be taking care of my siblings.  They're names are Eiji, Hibiki, and Hiroki.  

"Good bye papa," I say when I hug him.  He holds onto my and says, "Astra, stay safe, no matter what, just know I will always love you and you are not alone," he gently tells me.  Then he lets me go and takes something out of his pocket.  It was a small jewelry box.  When I opened it I say red, blue, and green  ruby, sapphire, and emerald earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and a diamond ring.

"They were your mother except for the ring.  It was what I was going to propose to your mother with, but I think you should keep them with you," he says.

Tears filled my eyes as  I hug my father one last time.  I was sad that I was going to be separated from him but art least I would be able to see him again soon at the second princes birthday party thats in three months.

"Good bye," I whisper from the carriage as we finally got in and left.
