Reincarnated to another World

Illusions or Not

Ling:  To those of you who found the last two chapters confusing, which might be all,  Astra, Toshika, Chiyo, and Shin entered the forest of illusion in order to get the water from a hidden spring located in the Suviel Kingdom.  Everyone was separated and was sent into an illusion.  Astra's illusion is when she returned to her original world.  If you aren't careful, you will be swallowed up by the darnkess and forced to relive your saddest moments or greatest fear.  I said this before but in a way Astra's  greatest fear was when she was lived in her old world.  Originally Astra was suppose to meet her father, find out about Rein, and then run away wandering around.  But I decided to change the order.  Also those chapters confused me also so I'm not going to write about her old world but maybe when this story is done, which might be a long time from now, I will write side stories about some events that I didn't include in last chapters and previous ones too.  That's all, you can enjoy the next chapter now.

Astra's POV

I wake seeing  dense fog.  In fact, I barely can even see my hand even though I'm guessing it's right in front of my face.  I try seeing if it was and by doing so I ended up hitting my face.

"Ita!"  I say rubbing my face as I emit mated the distance wrong and ended up hitting myself hard.  After that I sit up and try to see what's around me.  "I'm not doing that again," I tell myself.

She's awake!

How?

She should still be trapped in the illusions.

I hear soft voices whispering to each other above me and look up.  I see a few glowing balls of light that is red, blue, and green moving around.

"Who's there?" I ask and the balls of light freeze. 

She heard us?!

Shut up idiot maybe it's not us she's talking about.

I think it is though.

"Yes I'm talking about you three, red, blue, green," I say and they start panicking.

She can see us!

Hush!  Quickly we must leave before she finds the pool of water she and her friends are searching for!

Let's split up before she catches us!

Right as the last one says this they split up going in three directions.  I follow the closest one to me which is the red one.  She quickly darts between trees and soon disappears out of my sight when I was very fast, I just tripped over something and fall to the ground. 

"Ow!  Not the face again," I say rubbing my injured nose.  First I got my cheek and now I fall on my face.   What next will I stab my eyes or bite my tongue or something.  My face quickly pales and I ask whoever is causing my bad luck to not do those things.   'Really, please don't let that happen, I took that Shin's medicine even though I didn't really trust him at that time so I don't leave a scar on it, I don't need to get one now.'

I look at what I tripped over and see a dead body on the ground.  Before I scream, I look close enough and notice that the dead body is actually Toshiaki unconscious.  I let out a sigh of relief when I see that it's just him.

"Toshiaki, wake up," I say being down and shaking his shoulder.  He doesn't wake up but is instead mumbling "Please, dont leave me." "

 Toshiaki?"  I ask again as I continue shaking his shoulder.

"Don't leave me here...Mother...where are you?....Don't leave me alone.... I miss you,"  he continues to mumble and there is a few tears in his eyes.

"Toshiaki, your not alone," I say gently as I sit down on the ground and start running me my fingers through his hair.  "I'm your friend, I promise I wont leave you all alone.  It's alright."

Toshiaki relaxes under my touch and starts calming down.  After a few minutes he slowly opens his eyes and looks at me surprised.

"Astra?"  He asks me.

"Yes?"

"Thank you, you saved me from the illusion."

"There's no need to thank me, of course I would save my friend."

"Friend huh,"  he says somewhat bitterly and I look at him confused.

"Are, we not friends," I ask worried and pause when asks this.

"No, we are.  Your my friend Astra," he says shaking his head as if clearing his thoughts.  "Where are the others?"

"I don't know.  When I woke up I was separated from you all and then I heard these voices and a red, blue, and green light.  I followed the red one and then I tripped over you and lost sight of her," I tell him standing up and offering him a hand.

"Alright, first let's find Chiyo and Shin and then we can go get the water," he says while accepting my hand and I pull him up.  We begin walking around holding hands because we couldn't see each other that well and almost got separated twice.

"Astra," Toshiaki says and I look at him.

"Yes?"

"You, you really wont leave me right?"

"Of course, I've told you many times, we're friends.  I'm not the type of person who will ever betray those I care about," I say smiling.

"Then what about your friends from when you were at the academy.  If you ever meet them again, will you leave me?"

"Of course not, why do you ask such a thi-," I was cut off when we both see a light in front of us.  There is two people in front of us and I narrow my eyes and get into position where I would be ready to attack.  I also make sure my ears and tail is covered but not my face so whoever it is wont be able to see just me ears and tail.  "Who's there?"

"This voice, it sounds so familiar." A girls voice says and then the two are close enough that we can see each other.  The taller one stands in front of me and the shorter one in front of Toshiaki.

"Astra," she says and I'm shocked by who it is.  Standing right in front of me is a black haired and green eyed girl.  Kiara, my big sister figure in my old class and Misaki who is next to her with her brown hair grown down to her waist and her golden colored eyes stare at me with shock just as Kiara is doing right now.
