Meeting

Ling:  Ok so I had a little trouble with this chapter, I've been writing it at different times and on different things.  Anyway also I actually can't finish the story today, I only got this chapter done so far.  I was at my grandparents house helping them move everything of their boat and etc they have someplace by the water and I didn't get home until late last night and even then my parents brought home wood that's cut up so I had to help them move that to the backyard and stack them up.  So I was too tired to type then too.  I'll try to update the last final chapter Monday or Tuesday though if I don't update I'll accept any punishment you all give me for not updating.  This chapter is 2600 words (including this since I'm typing it after I finish chapter)  but I hope you enjoy this chapter because it's second to last.

Astra's Pov

The alliance with the dead is done and now I suppose I should go to my family and tell them all of this. Then at least they might help. I don't know if they will forgive me for running away and never returning to them....

Anyways I make my way around the castle making sure to stay in the shadows. I listen to the guards and learn that later today they will return back to the castle to have diner and rest. Apparently their room is near the kings so I have to make sure I'm not caught.

I slip into the door to their room and wait inside concealing my presence. I wait in silence sitting down at a desk by the window. Bored, I review everything that has happened to me in my life here again. I made a lot of choices I wish I can go back in time and fix, too bad that's not possible though.

I hear voices outside the door and recognize it's my father and brothers. So I must have chose the room the all are in, and the one next door should be mom and Kikus room. I stand up and walk towards the door, stopping halfway because the door opens and I see my father and brothers. There is silence as they stare at me already noticing my presence when they opened the door.

"Astra?" Father asks.

"It's been a long time Father, Ichiro-nii, Ryo-kun." I give them a small smile.

"It really is you," Ichiro-nii says.

"Yeah, sorry for lying, but... I couldn't really reveal myself at that time to you." I show a complicated expression on my face and he just sighs and nods.

"Where have you been all this time?" Father suddenly snaps out of his shock as he hugs me tightly. I hesitate for a second, 'It's been so long since I've felt this warmth,' I say to myself and wrap my arms around father.

"I'm sorry for not keeping in touch you all," I say quietly.

"Astra, it's fine," Ryo says. I sense the cold tone in his voice, but his complicated expression that looks like he wants to run into my arms and hug me like father betrays the tone of his voice.

"So? What are you doing here Astra? Don't telling me you have been staying here in this kingdom all these years?!" Fathers says letting me go. Ichiro closes the door and we all walk over to the couches to sit down.

"No, I came to this kingdom a little before you did father. I stayed in kingdom of Rhekha for most of the time but I recently left to help a friend and I returned to my kingdom afterwards only to be sent here for a mission." I say.

"Huh, what do you mean 'I returned to my kingdom afterwards?' I never received word from my people to tell me if you've returned." Father asks confused.
