            Leah's POV
A few minutes later, we went back inside, and Collins followed after a couple more minutes.

"I seriously thought no would be the answer." He said, grinning. Devan promptly chucked a pillow at him, and he ducked. Right as he ducked, Anne came in the room, and it hit her in the face. She froze, and both boys stared at her.

"Which one of you threw the pillow, and why?" Devan's hand slowly went up, and she crossed her arms.
"And why, may I ask, did you throw a pillow at your brother?" Devan raised an eyebrow, nearly glaring at Collins.
"Because he said that Leah wasn't going to say yes to my proposal." Anne looked at Collins, nearly glaring at him.
"And why would you think she wouldn't say ye-" She froze, Devan's words finally catching up with her, and she turned to us.

"Did....did you mean..." I smiled, holding up my left hand and revealing the ring. She laughed, taking my hand and studying the ring. Then, she let go of my hand, and wrapped Devan in a hug.

"Oh, congratulations, you two!!" She said, smiling and letting go.
"I got a video of it also, mom." Collins said, grinning. I glared at him, and shook my head.
"How about we'll just tell the story, alright?" He smiled slightly, and nodded. Anne looked confused, but shrugged.

"Well then, when your dad gets home, you can tell us the story during dinner. How does steak fries sound?" We all nodded, and I felt Devan's hand slip into mine. I gently squeezed his, and I felt him squeeze mine in return. About a half hour later, Steven came home, and dinner was ready and waiting. We all sat down and started eating, and then he spoke up.

"So, how was the day? And Leah, we were all watching tonight's episode. Congratulations." I smiled, reaching for the plate of rolls.
"Thanks." He smiled, handing it to me, and then noticed my ring.
"That's a really pretty ring. Where'd you get it?" I blushed slightly, setting the bowl back down.
"Devan." I said, and then took a bite. He studied it a bit more, and smiled.
"It's very pretty." He took a bite of his roll, and then heard Devan groan quietly.
"Oh my gosh. And I thought Collins didn't notice stuff." He murmured, and I chuckled.
"Well, now you know where he gets it." Devan had just taken a drink, and he snorted, nearly spitting it out. Anne leaned over to her husband, and whispered something. His eyes widened, and he looked back up at us.

"Oh, sorry about that. Congratulations, you two." I smiled, and I felt Devan's hand on my knee, his thumb moving in slow circles. The next day, I had to head to the ice cream shop where I worked, and Devan was getting his wisdom teeth pulled. Anne told me they'd be getting there around the time I got off, so they could just take me home then. So, at about two in the afternoon, she came in, and got a couple of shakes, and we headed out. On some levels, I felt bad for Devan, but it was hilarious watching him on laughing gas. Then, we got home, and Collins decided to try and do a magic trick for him, which was interesting. Later, we sat on the couch, watching The Addams Family, and a now-exhausted Devan fell asleep on me. So Collins had the bright idea to carry him up to his bed. Somehow, Devan got safely into his bed. Then, I crawled into bed, staring at the simple engagement ring that Devan had given me, and I smiled. I still didn't understand how he loved me so much, but I was so glad he did. The next morning, I woke up to hear laughter downstairs, and Devan groaning.

"Oh my gosh. Please tell me I didn't actually do that." I laughed, and quickly pulled on jeans and a hoodie, going downstairs. It was the video from yesterday, and Devan seemed a little upset, so I watched.

"Devan? Okay, so do you have a girlfriend?"
     "Nah."
     "Are you sure?"
     "Nah."

I looked back at Devan, who looked slightly hurt and upset.

"Leah, I'm sorry. I didn't mean that, I promise." I gently squeezed his hand and kissed his cheek.
"You were kinda high. I think I can forgive it this once." He smiled.
"Okay. And Starbucks later today?" I smiled.
"Of course." Best fiancee ever, ay?
