         Leah's POV
I sighed, once again waking up at 3:00 in the morning to Emerson crying. It had been about three weeks since we'd brought her home, and now I was understanding why Anne warned me I'd be exhausted. She would wake up just about every three hours, and want to eat or just wouldn't go back to sleep. I felt Devan roll over, groaning, and I started to get up.

"Hey, I'll get her." He murmured, and I chuckled weakly.
"No, you go back to sleep. You got her last time." He mumbled something unintelligible, and then buried his face in the pillow. I shook my head slightly, laughing to myself. My husband could be such a dork sometimes. I went to Emerson's room, picking her up.

"Hey, sweet girl. What's the matter?" She whimpered, and I sat in the rocking chair.
"Mm....You're hungry, I'll bet." I murmured, starting to feed her. She ate for about fifteen minutes, and then fell asleep while eating. I chuckled slightly.
"Stink bug." I lay her back down, and headed back to our bedroom next door, crawling into bed. I managed to sleep until about 7:45, which I was more than shocked at. She never woke up after six o'clock. I crawled out of bed, yawning, to find Devan and Emerson on the couch, watching YouTube videos of Collins on his phone. I chuckled slightly, crossing my arms.

"Does she really need to see how dumb your brother can be sometimes?" He looked up at me, and smiled.
"Well, she's got to know what she's getting into with our family." I smirked.
"Well, you should have thought about that before you got me pregnant." He gave me a teasing look, one eyebrow up.
"But you're the one that married me." I dropped to the chair beside the sofa, arms still crossed.
"And you're the one who proposed.....And asked me out....And asked me to come to his house to get away from my abusive parents. So, technically, this is your fault." He pretended to groan, but was smiling.
"Technically.....yes. But you still love me. And I wouldn't give any of this for the world." I chuckled, standing and kissing him.
"That I do. And neither would I." I whispered, and he kissed me again. Emerson grunted, squirming, and we laughed. I picked her up, kissing the top of her head.

"Seems like someone's already not okay with her parents kissing. That will only get worse as you get older, sweet girl." Devan laughed, standing. She squirmed in his arms, staring up at me.
"Oh, and Collins and I are filming again today, remember? Are you coming with me?" I nodded, taking Emerson from him and sitting down to feed her.

"Yeah. What are you two doing this time?" He shrugged, going and getting two cups of coffee.
"Not sure. He didn't tell me. All he said was that it was going to be weird. And Riley said she's going to be there as well." I smiled, keeping one eye on Emerson. She kept squirming, and she kept bobbing her head back up, trying to watched Devan. Finally, after about 20 minutes, she'd had a good meal, so I let her go back to Devan. I went to get my breakfast, and started running water in the sink for Emerson's bath. After I ate, Devan brought her in, along with a towel, clean clothes, and a fresh diaper for afterwards. With a little bit of difficulty and splashing, we got her bathed, dressed, and a little more tired. Devan chuckled, holding her as I cleaned up.

"How in the world did mom do this when I was a baby? Collins is bad enough now, but as kids...." I laughed, kissing his cheek.
"Your mother is a very brave woman." I said, and Devan smiled.
"She is. She's amazing, just like you. Now, you go shower, and I'll watch Emerson." I smiled, grateful for that. I still did shower as quickly as I could, though, because knowing my husband, things could get crazy very quickly. I changed, going back down to find Emerson already taking a nap. So, while Devan was changing, I got Emerson and myself in the car. We got there, and discovered that they were going to be doing a Real Vs Gummy Food challenge. They got to the end of the video, and Devan decided to switch the trays again.....Giving him the real worms. I watched, part of me laughing and part of me feeling really bad as he tried to eat the real worm. To put it simply, things didn't go well. Afterwards, Anne insisted we stay for awhile. Devan and I sat on the couch, watching Collins show Emerson some magic.

"Ugh.....that was awful." He said, and I chuckled slightly.
"Can you still taste it?" He nodded, and I leaned against him.
"Alright. I love you, but I am not kissing you until any and all worm residue is gone." He chuckled, kissing the top of my head.
"It'll be gone soon. I promise." I smiled, allowing myself to start to doze off. I loved this life.
