(Quick note- With the singing, Leah is italics and Devan is bold. When it's bold and italics, that means they're singing at the same time.)

Collins POV
I sat in front of the TV, Emerson on my lap and my heart racing. Mom and dad were on the sofa, and Nick had just introduced Leah. She and Devan were about to start. They had both refused to tell us what song they were doing, but were really excited. Then, the music started, and mom chuckled.

"This is going to be good." She said quietly, smiling. I saw Leah onstage, and then she started.

In sleep he sang to me
In dreams he came
That voice which calls to me
And speaks my name
And do I dream again
For now I find
The Phantom of the Opera is there
Inside my mind

We heard the roar of the crowd, and they were loving it. Emerson was bouncing on my knees, clapping. Then, the music swelled again, and I saw Devan coming out, and he began his part.

Sing once again with me
Our strange duet
My power over you
Grows stronger yet
And though you turn from me
To glance behind
The Phantom of the Opera is there
Inside your mind

I almost couldn't believe what I was hearing. This....it was amazing. He moved out beside Leah, and they started singing together at one part.

Those who have seen your face
Draw back in fear
I am the mask you wear
It's me they hear
Your (my) spirit and my (your) voice
In one combined
The Phantom of the Opera is there
Inside your (my) mind

In all your fantasies
You always knew
That man and mystery
Were both in you
And in this labyrinth
Where night is blind
The Phantom of the Opera is here (there)
Inside your (my) mind

He's there, the Phantom of the Opera

Then, as she finished that line, she began doing something else- vocalizing, her voice going higher and higher. When she finished, Devan started singing again.

I have brought you
To the feet of sweet music's throne
To this kingdom where all must pay homage to music
You have come here
For one purpose and one alone
Since the moment I first heard you sing
I have needed you with me
To serve and to sing my music
My music......

They finished, and everyone went crazy. Emerson apparently figured out that she was supposed to be applauding, because she started beating on my knees, kicking and squealing.

"Mama!! Dada!!" She giggled, and I kissed her cheek. She knew exactly who they were.
"That's right, Emmy. Mama and Dada were singing." She tried to make it through more of the show, but was out fairly quickly, as it was getting somewhat late, and definitely past her bedtime. I took her upstairs, gently putting her in the crib and kissing her cheek.

"Sleep well, Emmy."

Leah's POV
We finished, and the two of us walked forward, hand in hand and smiling.

"Well done, Leah." Howie said, smiling, and the cheers died down.
"So....This is your boyfriend, Devan." I blushed slightly, smiling.
"Ehh, not quite. Things have changed, and he's kind of my husband now." After I said that, the whole room exploded into cheers and whistling again. And then, my dork of a husband decided that would be the perfect moment to give me a quick kiss. Of course, that only made the cheering get louder, and I saw Howard laughing.

"You're not at all shy about it, are you?" Devan chuckled, shaking his head.
"Nope. I'm actually proud and glad that I'm able to say to some people, 'Hey, back off, that's my wife." We talked with them for another couple minutes, and then headed back offstage. After the show was over, Devan and I headed back to the hotel we were staying at. I flopped onto the bed, staring up at the ceiling.

"The sky is not awake....But I am awake." I groaned, and Devan chuckled as he changed.
"Well.....I could help with that problem." He said, a small smirk on his face. I looked up, raising an eyebrow.
"And now someone's getting a bit flirty, eh?" He chuckled, dropping onto the bed next to me.
"Leah, this is the first night we've really had alone since Emerson was born." I smiled, sitting up, and I kissed him. Things got heated fairly quickly after that......And after a little while, I had no problems whatsoever with getting to sleep.
