Chapter 17- Night Out

I don't think I'll ever get used to Liam's fame. It's crazy to think how far the boys have come. Watching  him up there on that stage... it's like it comes natural to him. There were a few moments during the concert where Liam looked confused or out of it. I don't know if it's because the way I reacted to his "request" , or if it's something else. I told Liam that Anna and I would come backstage after the concert was over, but I'm not really feeling it. I'm not really in the mood to deal with Chloe and Liam right now. Anna and I stayed in our seats while the arena cleared out. 

"So... Chloe invited us back to her place tonight."

"Um...why?"

"I was surprised as you are. When you and Liam went off to talk, she came up to me and asked me if we would go." 

"A party?"

"Just a little get together, as she calls it. Liam will be there. Along with Andy and the other boys."

"I'm hoping you declined her invitation." 

"She said Andy would be there,"

"And?"

"I said you owe me, remember?" she said with a smirk. 

"You really thought I would go to Chloe's house?"

"I thought you guys made up. That's what you told me at least."

She's right. I did tell her that and as far as everyone else knows, Liam and I are just friends. I'm beginning to think that's all we'll ever be. As much as I don't want to be around Chloe and Liam at the same time, I need to. I don't want anyone finding out what happened between Liam and I. 

"Fine, but I'm not staying all night."

"That's fine," she smiled. 

The arena started to look empty despite the few groups of girls standing around. We made our way backstage and sat around waiting for the boys to come out. I heard someone walking around the corner, and of course it was Chloe. She smiled as she made her way over to Anna and I. 

"So, you gonna come?" Chloe asked. 

"Yeah, we are." Anna replied.

Chloe smiled. "Good, I'm glad." 

There's a part of me that wishes she had good intentions but I have a feeling she is inviting us out of spite. Not really sure how this night is going to go.

"Liam, come here," Chloe said, getting his attention. 

I turned around and Liam was walking towards us. 

"Anna and Brooke are coming back to my place. Is there room in the car for them to catch a ride?"

You could tell Liam was surprised we got the invite. 

"Yeah, there should be," he replied. 

"Perfect," Chloe said.

Anna and I followed behind Liam and Chloe as they held hands all the way to the car. Liam says this whole thing with Chloe is all for show, but it doesn't look that way to me. They look happy. Which makes it hard for me to believe anything Liam has to say. There was a car outside the back of the arena waiting for us. Anna and I sat in the very back, with Chloe and Liam in the middle, followed by Niall in the front seat next to the driver. The only people talking were Niall and the driver. The rest of us barely said two words. Niall was always so outgoing which was always attractive. Not gonna lie, he looked good tonight. 

When we got to her place, it was beautiful, which I expected. Right after we arrived, everyone else started to get there. Andy finally arrived with Zayn, Louis, and Harry, along with a few girls. Niall made his way straight to the bar which wasn't surprising. I knew tonight would probably get to me, so I followed behind him.
