Chapter 10- The Concert Part 1

"Spencer..." 

"Hey Brooke..." he replied hesitantly.

"What are you doing here?"

"Well, I do go to school here," he laughed. He could tell I wasn't amused. 

"You know what I mean," I replied.

"I saw your car pull in and I haven't seen you in a while. I wanted to see how you're doing..."

"I'm doing great."

He needed to know I was fine without him even though I'm still hurt about what happened. I wasn't going to let him see any feeling of hurt that I had at that moment. 

"I'm going to be late for class, excuse me...," 

"Brooke stop."

"Why?" 

I scooted past him and started to walk away. 

"I miss you. You'll never know how sorry I am," he said as he grabbed my hand. 

"Let go."

"Can we talk please?"

"We talked enough. There's nothing more to say. You did what you did and that's the end of it."

"I just want you to know it meant nothing."

At this point I was getting upset. 

"Well it meant something to me," I replied shortly. I wasn't going to let him see me cry. I'm done crying. 

"I'm going to be late for class," I said, removing his grasp from my hand and walking away. 

I never expected I would've ran into Spencer today. Seeing him makes it hard to forget what happened. He was my first real boyfriend and I actually did love him... well.. I think I did. On my way to class I noticed the door to the classroom closed from down the hallway. When I made it to the door, a note was taped to it. 

Class is canceled today. 

Will resume regularly next week.

No class today. This is exactly what I need especially after that run in I just had with Spencer. After reading the note, I quickly turned around and made my way home. Its only 4 so I have some time before the driver picks us up tonight. I'm excited to get out tonight and have some fun.

When I opened the door to the flat I ran straight into Andy. 

"Whoa, I'm sorry"

"Hey babe you alright?" Andy said, hugging me. 

"I'm great how are you?"

"Just leaving! I guess I'll see you in a couple hours right?"

"Yeah see you then," I smiled. 

I closed the door and turned around to see Anna smiling back at me. 

"Hey," I said as I threw my backpack on the floor by the door. 

"I thought you had class today?"

"I did but it was canceled... when did Andy get here?"

"A little bit after you left."

"Oh okay.... you would not believe who I ran into today..."

"Who?"
