I woke up in a dark hotel room with the sound of soft snoring next to me. I knew the breathing was coming from Matty, but it seemed so unfamiliar. I sat up quietly, turning to see the bed beside Matty and I's being inhabited by Ross.
I stood up, walking into the bathroom quietly.
Once I was in the bathroom I looked at myself in the mirror. My hair was a mess, I had bags under my eyes from the lack of sleep caused by anxiety. My loose shirt revealed small reddish-purple hickeys Matty had left.
I pulled up my shirt, looking around the bathroom. I saw a small hair tie, and I quickly put my hair up.
I quietly walked out of the bathroom, grabbing Matty's jacket that he previously threw on the floor. I grabbed my phone and slid on my vans.
If I wasn't going to sleep I might as well just get some fresh air and look around a city I had only seen during the day.
- Matty's POV -
I woke up a bit earlier than usual, the flight to Germany being a bit more draining than expected. I moved my hand to the side of the bed Sarilynn fell asleep on and felt cold sheets.
I sat up immediately, realizing she wasn't next to me. "Sarilynn?" I whispered, getting up.
I walked over to the bathroom and opened the door to see it empty. I rushed to Ross, shaking him.
"Ross!" I hit his shoulder. "Sarilynn isn't here."
Ross instantly got up.
- Sarilynn's POV -
I walked along the empty brick streets, the sun barely beginning to rise. My phone began ringing and I stopped, pulling it out of my pocket.
"Sarilynn!" Matty exclaimed. "Where are you? Ross and I are freaking out!"
I smiled, "I'm wandering... I couldn't sleep. I'm on Eleanor Avenue."
"Okay," Matty took a deep breath. "T- that's a good area... uh, there should be a little candy shop that's open 24 hours near you?"
I looked across the street and sure enough, about fifty feet away from me was a candy shop.
"Yeah, I see it," I replied.
"Okay, good... Go in there and Ross and I are headed there," Matty stated.
"Okay," I crossed the street.
"I love you, don't scare me like that," Matty chuckled before hanging up.
I walked into the candy store and saw an elderly man working. "Early morning candy shopping," he chuckled. "Cravings will kill you."
I smiled at him, beginning to wander the aisles.
Soon enough I heard the jingle of the door, and a familiar voice. "Sarilynn? Where are you?"
I walked around and aisle to be squeezed in Matty's tight arms. "Yeah, we found her... don't call Jamie," Ross smiled, talking to his phone.
"Matty," I laughed. "I can't breathe."
Matty let go of me, backing up and I could see the worry in his eyes. "I thought you left," Matty admitted. "And there's my jacket... I was wondering where it went."
I smiled, and Matty kissed my lips softly. "Tell me before you leave next time, okay?"
"Okay," I nodded. I grabbed Matty's cold hand, leading him to the candy I had my eye on.
Ross eventually found Matty and I holding some candy for himself, and we all walked up to the cash register.
Matty grabbed the pocket of his jacket, a panicked look on his face as he realized his wallet was not with me wearing his jacket, but in the hotel room. Ross had used the bit of money he carried in his pocket for the cab.
I put my phone on the counter, taking the case off of my phone and handing the man twenty pounds. Matty looked at me with amazement.
"That's so handy," Matty chuckled. "Why haven't I done that?"
"That is pretty clever," the old man smiled, handing me my change. "Have a nice day."
Once we all were walking and eating our candy, Matty spoke up. "I'm glad nothing happened to you, and although Ross looks unamused, know he's happy too."
I smiled, "I was being spontaneous for once, and thank-you for worrying about me," I nudged Ross.
"I'll pay you back for the candy also," Matty stated.
"No you the fuck will not!" I protested. "New York and Europe," I sighed. "You've paid for so much and I am fully capable of paying for my own things, Matthew."
"Ooh," Ross laughed.
"Okay," Matty gave in.
"Wait, really?" I smiled. "You're fine with it now?"
"You're so passionate about it I could've given up ages ago, but I enjoy you being mad," Matty smiled.
I rolled my eyes, and we reached the hotel shortly after.
I followed behind the boys as we walked into the hotel lobby to greeted by employees.
"I need to shower," Ross stated as we walked towards the hotel room. "Anyone need to do their business before?"
Both Matty and I shook our heads. "Good," Ross smiled.

I sat next to Matty on our bed, his arm tightly around me. "Are you sure you just left because you couldn't sleep?" Matty whispered.
I sunk down further into the bed. "I'm homesick," I admitted. "I want to stay on tour... but I'm worried about my aunt."
Matty nodded, "Suzanne?"
"Yeah," I bit my lip. "She's going through stress with taking care of two kids obviously... I'm leaving a lot now, so I bet she's worried about me. I'm scared about the baby." Matty nodded.
"I know she'll always make sure that be baby is fine and I'm probably overreacting... I don't know anymore," I sighed.
"That's fine," Matty assured. "You don't have to understand your feelings."
I nodded, and Matty kissed my cheek. "I'm always here, and you can go home at any time, baby."
I smiled faintly, "Thank-you, Matty."
"Stop saying that," Matty chuckled. "You're making me feel like I make a big impact on your life when I don't."
"Yeah you do, don't deny it," I laughed. "And you make a big impact on your fans, so don't deny that either."
