I tossed and turned the four hours I was unable to sleep. Matty being Matty he fell asleep right away, leaving me to lay in the dark listening to the silence.

Finally, I couldn't take it anymore.

I sat up, placing my head in my hands, sighing. "Just sleep," I muttered. "It's not that difficult."

I shook my head, on the verge on tears because of exhaustion. I felt a cold hand on my thigh, and I turned to see Matty in the faint light.

"Can't sleep?" He whispered.

"Yeah," I replied, laying my head on my knees.

"Come here," Matty moved the blanket up, patting an empty spot beside him.

I slid beside Matty, and he wrapped his arms around my waist, kissing my neck. "Maybe this will help," Matty coughed a bit.

I preferred it before
We should ring dad more
Lost our house
Hold me close
I stopped by, just to wash my clothes

I know it's me that's supposed to love you
And when I'm home you know I got you
Is there somebody who can watch you?

Matty sang softly, just enough for the both of us to hear. I put my hands over Matty's arms, taking in the moment.

"Did that work?" Matty whispered.

"Shut up or it won't," I laughed.

Matty stood at the end of the bed holding up a bow tie and a normal tie. "Which one?" Matty questioned.

"Tie," I answered.

"Okay, I thought so too," Matty smiled.

My black heels sitting beside me looked extremely intimidating. Matty laughed at me as he tied his tie.

Matty grumbled and I turned to see he wasn't having much of a great time with his tie. "You wouldn't happen to know how to tie a tie?"

I bit my lip, "I haven't tied one since I had to tie Maverick's for my Dad's funeral."

Matty's face softened, not knowing what to say next. "I can try," I smiled, standing up.

I walked over to Matty, remembering the feeling of the silk fabric. I slowly moved the tie and then tightened it.

Matty smiled at me, "Thank-you, baby."

I nodded, turning back to my heels. "Last night in New York, I have to suck it up," I groaned. "Especially since you got such a fancy reservation."

I put on the heels and Matty stood in front of me, ready to catch my fall. I stood up and grabbed onto Matty. Matty smiled at me, taking my hand.

I took a step and remembered how to walk pretty quickly. "Okay," I smiled. "I think I got this... let's go."

Once we reached the restaurant, Matty and I walked arm in arm up to the waitress, "Name?" She asked.

"Healy," Matty answered.

"Right this way, sir," she smiled, walking towards the tables.

Matty and I followed close behind, and then the waitress stopped. Matty walked over to a seat and pulled out the chair for me.
