I stood at work, tending to the drunk people of the ghetto side of London. As I handed a drunk woman her sixth shot of fireball, I noticed the band that are going to be playing tonight walk in. All of the drunkies turned to the boys that I paid no attention to, trying to clean up the bar.

"Oh my god! I know them!" A man stood up from the bar. "You guys are The 1975, right?"

"Yeah," a familiar voice responded.

I looked up and saw George! What is George doing here? Matty didn't tell me he had any plans... George must be in another band than just the one with Matty.

"Check, check."

I immediately knew the voice, it was Matty. I looked around and saw Matty looking at me from the small stage. "We're The 1975," Matty stated.

Matty began to strum on his guitar, turning to the other boys to make sure they were ready, before the words left his lips.

I'm rushing in a small town
I forgot to call you
Running low on know how
This beats made for two
'Cause I remember that I like you
No matter what I found
She said it's nice to have your friends round
We're watching a television with no sound

I wasn't able to look away from Matty, the words flowing so effortlessly from his mouth. Matty glanced at me once in a while, and I knew he made arrangements here just for me, maybe because this is a song I haven't heard.

It's just you and I tonight
Why don't you figure my heart out
It's just you and I tonight
Why don't you figure my heart out

Matty looked at me while he sang, and I smiled at him. Matty formed a smile at the end of his lips, turning back to the small crowd.

Once Matty finished the song and everyone clapped, he nodded. "We got a small gig here, and our album is coming out soon. If you guys want to order it, you should."

I shook my head at Matty, getting drinks for a few people, and then he sang lyrics that I instantly recognized.

What time you coming down?
We started losing light
I'll never make it right
If you don't wonder off
I'm so excited for the night
All we needs my bike
And you're in August house
You said some very mind well
Closer to your height and
Then we'll knock around, endlessy
You're all I need

Matty closed his eyes, getting into the words that I hold so dearly. Although Matty wrote them, I can see his connection to the simple words.

Once Matty finished I conveniently got off work, I bet he planned that too. I rushed up to Matty once he completed the gig, hugging him tightly although he was sweating. Matty chuckled, wrapping his arms around my waist. "You shit," I laughed, making Adam bust out in laughter.

"Let's go get some food," Matty grabbed my hand, leading the guys and I outside.

"We're going to take Sarilynn's car, but meet you at Stina's?" Matty asked, and all of the guys gave us a thumbs up.

Once Matty and I got in my car, Matty in the driver's seat because he wanted to drive; Matty leaned over and kissed me suddenly.

"What was that for?" I laughed.

Matty shrugged, following the van with all of the instruments and the boys. Matty tapped his fingers on the wheel, turning to me, "Did you enjoy the show?"

"Yes, oh my god. I finally got to hear more songs, and it was insane. None of those people had heard your songs, but they all really enjoyed them. I-"

"Okay stop, I'm blushing," Matty joked. "Just kidding, I don't blush. If I could though, I'd be blushing." I rolled my eyes, laughing.

Matty pulled into Stina's, and we jumped out of the car, Matty rushing to my side to hold my hand tightly. The boys were already waiting outside, sticking their tongues out at us. "Let's go, shall we?" Matty smiled at them, leading us into Stina's.

"Matty! George! Ross! Adam!" Tina gushed. "How are you boys, tonight? Come on! Have a seat!"

We all took a seat in a large booth, I sat between Matty and Ross, Ross being the only one I've really talked to. Tina took our orders, Matty ordered for me again. Once Tina left, George turned to me.

"What'd you think about the show?" George questioned.

"It was incredible, but if I continue Matty will interrupt me," I laughed.

"Sarilynn babbled away about how amazing we were and how we touched everyone in the audience... Sarilynn, you do know we're going on tour after our album? And there's going to be a ton of more people, right?" Matty chuckled.

"I figured, but still seeing it up close I was dying basically," I laughed.

"Okay, I understand why Matty wrote a late song but insisted we put it on the album, now," Adam laughed.

Matty squinted his eyes at Adam, making me laugh. "You two make me want to barf," Ross joked.

"Oh shut up, Ross!" Matty smacked Ross on the back of his head. "We're not as bad as you and that Caroline girl that you dated for two weeks."

"Oh my god don't get me started on Caroline!" George began. "She was a complete and utter bitch-"

"GEORGE!" Tina scolded, setting our drinks down. "There are children three booths down, please keep the language to yourself, dear."

George's face turned pink from him blushing. "Aw, Georgie is blushing! How cute!" Ross pointed out.

"Ross I swear to god," George scowled. "You know I like Tina, and if you ruin things with Tina and I... I will murder you and Sarilynn will replace you." Everyone laughed, and I took a drink of my milkshake Matty ordered me.

"You know, Sarilynn can play the guitar and piano, so maybe the bass guitar wouldn't be as difficult to learn," Matty shrugged.

"Shut up Matty!" Ross replied.
