Elliot
"Elliot, stay away." Gabriel hissed, "I don't want you to get hurt protecting me."
"I can almost use my powers now, Gabriel. And we have a nephilim, there's no way whoever has you can take us on. Can't you see that I, that we, can save you?" I asked, moving towards him, "All I want is you to be safe. You protected me for most of my life now let me repay the favor and protect you, Gabriel."
"Elliot," His projection skipped for a second, like it was running low on juice, "Elliot I am using every bit of energy here practically begging you to stay away." The look in his eyes was pained, and the perfect image of him began to fade to one of a beaten looking Gabriel, his mouth sewing itself shut, "I promise this isn't goodbye. Just see you later."
"Gabriel, no!"
As I felt myself lunge forward, I woke up. Everything that was going on confused me. Where could he possibly be that is so dangerous he doesn't even want the boys and I trying to save him? My entire body ached with anxiety, I had to quickly gather myself before any of the others came in and saw me this way.
"You decent?" It was Dean's voice on the other side of the door, then opening it, "We got a lead on Gabe. Castiel picke up on his grace a distance away from here."
"Where?" I asked, "Where is it at?"
"Somewhere with a fellow named Asmodeus, current ruler of Hell, I guess," Dean smiled lightly, "I hate that son of a bitch."
"Wait, ruler of Hell? That can't be, Crowley is the ruler of Hell," I scoff, "Whoever you got your information from is wrong." Dean gave me a look, then left the room. Only to return moments later with Sam and Castiel behind him, "What is this?"
"Crowley is dead, Ellie. He died the same night Jack was born, months ago," Castiel spoke, "Whoever you were staying with these last months, it wasn't Crowley."
"That's why we had such a hard time believing it was Crowley who brought you back. He's dead, and like, for good dead. We tried bringing him back, it didn't work. He was sent to the Empty," Sam patted my shoulders, "I'm sorry."
"What?" I breathed out, "No. You're lying. There's no way I was with a fake. It was Crowley, I know it was..." I looked at Castiel for a second, "Bring him back. If Jack could bring back Castiel then he can bring back Crowley. Bring him back."
"Elliot, I'm afraid I can't. I don't know how. I don't even know how I brought Castiel back," Jack said, "I had a bond with him. I know nothing of Crowley."
I felt the tears in my eyes form and let themselves fall, "If Crowley is dead and Asmodeus took over, does that mean that I was in the same spot as that shitstain who is keeping my Angel captive? I was right there? In the same place as him? And I didn't even know it?"
"I-It's possible," Sam sputtered, "But we don't know how long Asmodeus has had Gabriel."
"Why did he let me out?" I cried, "Goddammit why did he let me out?! It's not like he didn't know what I was!"
The boys all shrugged their shoulders at me, "We're sorry, Ellie. Really."
"Cut the sorry bullshit," I hissed, "We have to kill this son of a bitch."
