I woke up with the feel of silk on my bare body. The sun shone through the satin drapes in the room. I opened my eyes and saw the ocean blue walls. I sat up in the bed and rubbed my eyes. I was in Xavier's room. Last nights memories swarmed in my head like Bee's on honey. I placed my hand over my head as a headache began to form.
Throwing the covers off of me, I made my way into the bathroom. The marble momentarily froze my feet until they landed on plush purple carpet. I opened the medicine cabinet, placed my toothbrush on the counter, and the bottle of ibuprofen I kept here. Without me keeping medicine here, I would be so out of luck. He doesn't believe in pills and would freak if he saw me taking them.
After swallowing the pill with a miniature cup of water I brushed my teeth, and then washed my face. Looking up, I jumped when Xavier's face was directly behind me. He laughed at me.
I slapped his chest, turning to face him. "You scared me! Don't do that. "
He placed his hands on the place I hit. "You scratched me!"
"And you scared me, I say again. "
"And it was so worth it." He picked me up by the waist and sat me on the counter. "They told me about last night."
"Oh." I fiddled with my fingers in my lap.
"What happened that fast?"
I shrugged. "The gun. I didn't know...." The rest of my sentence faded. That she planned on killing that girl... I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him all the way between me. "But I'm good now. I'm okay."
"Are you sure?" He asked, his arms around my waist.
"Yes.I am." He pecked me on the lips. "What's the agenda for the day?"
"What time do you have to be back for the day?"
For that moment, I forgot about the orphanage. "Whenever I decide to go back."
"And when is that?"
"When you get tired of me and send me away."
He rolled his eyes. "That won't be anytime soon."
"I know. Can I get down now?"
"No." He leaned his head down and collided his lips with mine. Our lips mingled with each other, tongues exploring the others mouth. I eventually pulled away for air. "Okay,go get dressed."
"Yes,Sir." I jumped off of the counter and pushed his arms. "Get out so I can shower."
"Psh," He smacked his lips. "It's not like I haven't seen you before." I felt the blood rush to my cheeks in embarrassment. I switched my weight from my left leg to my right. Sensing my discomfort, he held his hand up in surrender. "Okay, okay. I'll just go use the other bathroom."
"Thank you!" He left out.
I turned the water on and peeled off my shirt and shorts I slept in. Before getting in the shower, I stopped in the mirror. I wondered where did I get milk chocolate eyes that turned hazel in the sunlight. I wondered where did I get curly hair that always laid perfectly flat. Who did I get my dimple from? My smiley? My attitude? Who?
Noticing steam beginning to form on the mirror I stepped in the shower. My body was instantly met with scolding water. I cursed to myself and turned it down some. A few seconds later it cooled to where I could let it rain on my body. It relaxed my nerves and tensed muscles.
My thoughts quickly flashed to last night. I didn't expect for Shell to shoot her. I really didn't ; it wasn't in the plan. I wondered if she lived. What about the other girls? Are they okay? A twinge of guilt hit my heart for stomping her head, but I didn't regret it. She's naked me, and snakes get stepped on.
A bang on the door. "Hurry up! We don't have all day."
I rolled my eyes, but began to wash up anyway. I stepped out the tub smelling like Peach and Vanilla Cream Body Wash. My hair began to frizz in the mirror and I fluffed it to fullness. Leaving out with a towel wrapped around my body I went to the dresser to find an outfit Checking my phone I saw humidity was at eighty-seven percent. And Xavier liked skirts, so since majority of my day will be like him, I guess that's what I'll be wearing.
My outfit was today was a mint-green fitted short sleeve T'Shirt, a black belted skater skirt, black suede bow flats. My accesories were pear drop earring and a crystal cuff bracelet. I looked myself over in he mirror, applying a line of eye liner on each eye and beigi lipstick, before leaving out the room.
"Happy?" I asked, coming down the stairs. "I'm done now."
"Thank you." He looked me over, smiling. "You look good."
"I try." A smirk planted itself on my lips.
"Damn, no thank you or you too? That's what we on now?"
I shrugged my shoulders. "You tell me."
He chuckled, grabbing hi skeys and wallet off the counter. "You're lucky I love you." He grabbed my hand, leading me out the house and to his Silver 2014 Buick Verano. I sat in the passenger's side as he opened my door and closed it, going to his side.As soon as he started the car I began to fiddle with the radio. I stopped on WGCI as they were playing Wowzers by Lil Wayne.
I instantly began to sing the chorus and Xavier just stared at me like I was a foreign species. "What?"
"Are you trying to tell me something?"
"Shut up and drive." I rolled my eyes, turning to radio down some.
We puled into the parking lot of Orland Mall. The parking lot was crowded, it took us around fifteen minutes to find a space, and then we had to walk about five minutes to get in the mall. Pushing through people, was so not what I felt like doing, but it was necessary to get through the group blocking the door.
"What store?" Xavier asked me.
"Ummm...Hot Topic I guess. It's closer."
For the next two hours we roamed around the mall, going from store to store. Xavier bought me anything I wanted. And him knowing I would stop at a certain time, he bought anything I glanced at for too long. Too long being more than three seconds. So when we exited the store I had four bags. Four gigantic bags.
After setting everything up we sat idle in the bed. I was propped up and his head rested on my chest. I twirled the edges of his hair in my hand while switching through channels on the TV.
Getting bored, I turned it off and closed my eyes. All that came to mind were images of the girl that Shell shot. I wondered what her family members thought, how hard they were mourning.
"Have you ever killed anyone?" I asked Xavier.
"No." He responded instantly. "There's no reason. They'll get what's coming to them later." He sat up, staring in my eyes. "Why? Are you thinking about it?" He was dead serious.
"No." I responded. "Shell did. Last night."
"Shit." He rubbed his head. "I told her not to do any stupid shit. Damn." He didn't say anything for a while. "That's why you passed out."
"I did not pass out." I lied. He just looked ay me, knowing I was lying. I sighed. "I don't like guns. I never have, never will."
"That's cool. I'll talk to her tonight."
"No-No." I knew Xavier's talking, wasn't normal talking. Especially not when it came to situations dealing with me. "I'll deal with it whenevr I see her again."
"Well you better get ready. Because we're going to a party with her later."

No guys! I did not forget about the orphangae. And sorry for the long wait, too busy. But, next chapter should be way more interesting. This was just to see a little in Milly's mind. She does still have feelings you know!!!
This will most likely be edited and completely changed, but I didn't want you guys to wait any longer. Plus, if I added the next part it would of been like seven pages long so....Yeah.
Question : Would you rather have the party scene next, or a scene with Xavier and Autumn?? Which one??
