A/N I would recommend watching the video of the dances to the side as each one is announced! I made a compilation of them, so you can play and pause it was necessary, and they're in the order written. But if you can't see that, a link is in the external. Outfits are also to the side!

Waking up Saturday morning my first thought was how early it was at five' oh three in the morning. The sun was still blocked behind the clouds, but I could hear Nicole downstairs preparing coffee and breakfast. My fist emotion was weariness. I didn't really go to sleep until midnight, making sure everyone knew what time to be at the competition, and to arrive early because contestant parking was sparse if you were driving your own car. Then we had to carpool and get that together with addresses and crap. In the end, everyone had their bags packed with clear minds to keep them sleep. I would be driving with Kimbrea, Jessica, and Toya. They were suppose to come here to meet up within the next hour.

With that in mind, I got out of bed and waddled to the bathroom. Turning on the light, I plugged in my flatirons and got in the shower. I had already bathed last night, a part of my soothing ritual with the Jacuzzi bath, but I still needed to feel the warm water this morning to fully wake me up. After that, I put on a sports bra and workout shorts to begin flat ironing my hair. By the time I finished that, it was after six and the girls were downstairs. I put on a jacket over my sports bra and yoga pants over my workout shorts, slipping on ballet flats. Checking my bag over one more time, I zipped it up and threw it over my shoulder and grabbed my car keys off the dresser before going downstairs.

"Hey." I greeted everyone, trying my best to smile and not be so serious.

"Hey, Sweetie." Nicole handed me a compression cup with coffee in it. "We'll be there later, whenever Rick decides to wake up."

I laughed,"Okay." Then turned to the girls on the couch. "Y'all ready."

"If not know, then never." Jessica responded. "Bye, Mrs.Smith."

"See you later."

In the car, there was silence at first. Actually, Jessica and Toya fell asleep in the backseat and Kimbrea was too absorbed in her music to really entertain me. So fro a majority of the ride, I was alone and completely focused on the competition.

It wasn't until actually getting to the school things were hectic. First, we had to park across the street, which actually wasn't bad because we only brought one bag apiece for this very reason. The issue with that, was because as we walked in, we saw other cars being parked in the lot. Second, the line was around a corner. We were in that for twenty minutes before even getting to the desk, and it took an unexpected ten minutes to actually get a room. By then our whole team was there- all twenty of us. Our room was on the complete opposite side of the auditorium- so we had a long travel to get there. Lastly, it was the chaos of actually getting our team together! I mean, from make-up to hair to getting dressed..all of it was a lot. Imagine twenty people all asking you questions at once, and then put in the noise of the other teams, and the reminders every five minutes of when we need to be backstage, and then still having to get yourself ready. I was so mad the girls category was first- because that just meant all the more rush.

But eventually we were ready. Dressed in our blue long sleeve crops and black Capri sweats with blue pockets, we took our position backstage. Only ten schools were entered, and we were scheduled to perform second to last, but seven teams already performed, and one team was disqualified for reasons I didn't care to know at the moment. Meaning, we were next after this girl group came off stage.

"Okay, girls. They immediately shushed and turned to me. "We're going to go out here, and kill this shit. Simply put, they got nothing on us. Have that attitude- but not to the point where you slack off. We came to fuck up this order, okay?"
