Friday came by quicker than I think any of us truly expected; but that's how all school days are when you actually have something to do. We've practiced at least eight hours in the last two days, and right now I'm debating whether or not to practice today. People say that crash practices can ruin everything and the best thing to do is relax the day before a competition, but this routine really needs to be perfect. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Walking in last period I sat in my seat to see we had a substitute, Mr. Harrison. I inwardly cheered because I did not feel like hearing Mrs.Moore drone on and on about Quantum numbers and how they affect us in life. In her heavy Japanese accent, it's hard to understand her too. I put my headphones in my ear and laid my head on the table, hoping to catch a few minutes of sleep- but that was ruined when Anthony chose today to show up early for class. I already knew a nap was out of the question as soon as he sauntered in the school, and his devious smirk as he sat next to me only confirmed my thoughts.

"What's up?" He pecked my forehead and took out his phone, scrolling through his Twitter Feed I assumed.

"I'm just nervous."

"Already?"

"First time performing and I was in charge of getting it perfected? Yes, already."

"You'll do great. Especially if you perform how you practice." Yesterday he stayed with me during practice since Basketball ended early.

"What time is your game?" I questioned, remembering it was tomorrow and I promised to show up. "Seven p-m Your competition is at nine a-m, right?"

"Yeah."

"Got a nigga waking up early on a Saturday."

"I didn't ask you to come."

"I know." He looked around the class before checking his phone again and turning back to me. "Let's ditch this."

"And go where?"

"Depends, you want to stay in this school or go somewhere else?"

I looked around the class, seeing people trail out as the substitute,Mr.Harrison, fell asleep at the desk as he always did that, no matter how much noise was surrounding him. I thought it over for a while, questioning whether I wanted to waste two hours of my life in here with nothing to do or find something interesting to do?The decision wasn't hard as I grabbed my purse and exited the class with Anthony right behind me. We maneuvered our way through the halls until approaching the one between the main floor and auditorium. Anthony opened the door for me and we briskly walked through the garden to the parking lot, getting in his car.

"You do know we have to come back and get my car, right?"

"Suurrreeee. Where to?"

"Your car. Surprise me."

~

I wish I didn't't tell him to surprise me, because we ended up at his house, which really was two blocks away from mine. It looked like something form a Modern Country magazine. It was two story, light blue wood building encased in a white fence. It was simply indescribable as the exterior and interior said nothing but comfort and luxury. There wasn't too much, and never too little, and it had the perfect amount of privacy because big oak trees covered every side but the front. His room had to be the plainest one I've ever seen, as there was a King Size bed with a purple comforter set, black study desk with  a lab top on it, and a flat screen on a stand.

"Why is your room so plain?" I asked as I leaned back on his pillows.

"Yeah, make yourself comfortable." He mockingly rolled his eyes, sitting on the side of me. "But, I'm barely ever in her so I never felt the need to."

"Oh, right!" I said sarcastically, tapping myself on the head as if I forgot something. "Mr.Popularity doesn't have enough time to relax. Right?"

"Shut up." He smacked me with a pillow, which I have no idea where it came from. I took the pillow from on top of my face and tossed it on the floor. "Girl, that is Egyptian Cotton!"

"Ask me how many cares I give."

"Yeah, keep talking..." He smirked.

"What you goin' do? Tickle me?" The second the words left my lips I regretted them. That devious smirk came back, and his green eyes brightened a bit. I slowly stepped out of the bed and backed away to the door quickly. "Anthony...do not touch me..."

He stalked after me like a prey to its next meal. Wasting no time, opened the door and jetted down the steps to the first floor. His hands brushed my waist as I twisted around the couch, and we circled that about four times. He tripped over the rug on the last circle, and I took that time to sit on his waist and hold his hands down. That smirk never left his face, and neither did my smile.

"Nah!" I said, pocking out my tongue. "You're stuck."

"What makes you think I cna't turn this around?"

"Because if you would you would have done it by now."

"I'll let you believe that."

"Yeah, whatever." I moved to where I could lean down on him, still holding his arms at my side. "Hmm...now give me a reason I should let you up?"

"I already know how to get up. Plus, this position is comfortable, so I'm good."

"Ew, you are so gross."

"But notice you didn't move."

I didn't't even bother to move my face, because the blush covered my entire face. It was a sexual position- that I can admit. Our pelvis' were touching as my legs relaxed on either side of him and my hair draped both of our faces perfectly.

"You..are really gorgeous."

"Thanks." I bent down a little, gently pecking his lips.

"That's all?" I nodded my head. "Oh, so that's what we on?" Before I knew it, his hands were slipped from under mine and he gripped my wrist. In the next second he was on top of me, and I was pinned in his previous position. "Told you I could do it...Now, about that kiss."

"You ain't gettin' shit form me."

"Oh,really?" He bent down and I turned my head so he only caught my cheek. "Autumn..."

"Ew, did you just use my government name?"

He shrugged. "It's cute. You look like a damn fall day."

"I do not know how to take that."

"Oh, it's a compliment. And I hope you don't think I forgot that fast about this situation."

"Juts let me up." I pleaded. "Please?"

"So you can run again?"

"Really? Where am I going to go? Up the stairs?"

"Shit, probably. But if you would do it anyway why does it matter if I let you go or not?" I gave him a straight face and briefly glanced at his position. Taking the hint, he shrugged again. "Oh well, you shouldn't of ran. You started this."

"One kiss." I reminded him.

"That's all I asked." Leaning down, our lips connected and that empty feeling in my stomach was smoothed. His hands left my arms and went to cuff my face as his tongue made rounds in my mouth. Just then, I pulled my head back down and smirked at him. "You play too much."

"Well-" My sentence was interrupted by the sound of someone fiddling with the door.
