Walking in the school, everything silenced as if they knew something I didn't. The clamor quickly picked up as I went to my locker, but that moment resonated in my head. Kimbrea, Jessica, Sean, and Anthony already crowded around Kimbrea and I's adjoined lockers.

"Hey." I greeted, beginning the combination in mine.

"Oh, we see you." Jessica said. "So you weren't going to tell us?"

I laughed to hide any confusion. "Tell you what?" The bell rung, signaling the beginning of division.

"See you in second." Jessica said as her and Kimbrea walked away. Sean and Anthony dapped fist before Sean ventured up the stairs to his first period class.

" So...what exactly were they talking about?" I questioned him, closing my locker. "And good morning."

"Morning. But...um..." He scratched the back of his neck. "So..you know how girls tell their friend everything?"

"I don't associate with many, so no. I don't."

"Well...us normal people feel the need to share things we do, without thinking too much, and then those people like to tell. So, long story short, I told Sean about the kiss and he told Jessica who told Kimbrea- not knowing other girls were in the bathroom stall- and it spread."

I pressed my cheek in the side of my mouth and nodded my head slowly before shrugging. "I give no fucks really."

"Sorry."

"What are you apologizing for?" I asked as I smiled. "There's nothing to be sorry about, really. It would get out eventually. This school is a damn tabloid."

"Let's get to class before Wanda gets on our asses."

"Ain't nobody worried about her dusty ass."

"Until she hit you with that detention."

"So, really?" Kmbrea questioned me as I sat in the seat. It was now second period Art,and though I already knew what she was about to ask because I had been asked it at least three times already, I still asked her what she was talking about. "You and Anthony."

At that moment the class noise seemed to simmer a little. Ears arched in this direction, and phones were drawn out-I'm guessing to quickly send any new information out. I swear this school was right out of a movie.

I shrugged. "It is what it is. Tell me what you think." And then, before she could question me, I nodded a 'yes' to her and nudged by head to those eagerly tapping on their phone screens. She shook her head, smiling at the idiocy, and then giving me a thumbs up.

I knew retaliation would come in some way, shape, or form.  I knew that someone would have something to say, because, how do I out this...Anthony was a hot commodity? I mean, he wasn't a star player, but he was a full package upon further thinking. He maintained at least a 3.6 GPA at all times, played sports well enough to not fade in the background at games, talked to anyone he came, and with all of this he never got a big head. Well, except when he came around me for whatever reason. So yeah, I knew some girl would have something to say about it- but I never dreamed she would take it to these far extremes.

It started at the end of Art when someone bumped into my shoulder, almost making me drop my bag as they rushed pass. All I saw were her red Jordan's, ebony black ponytail, and curvy frame before she exited the room. Even to get mad, I wouldn't of had the time to confront her then, so I just let it go. After the next period as I was by my locker, it was abruptly closed, and if I didn't have such close reflexes it would of hit me square in the face.
