This chapter is pretty short so I'll probably post another chapter. Anyways, hope your day went well. Here's the next chapter. Enjoy!

I woke up feeling so much better, I was relieved that I could breathe once more. Logan was asleep holding my hand while Alexia and Taryn were asleep on the couch. I squeezed his hand and he woke up.
“You’re awake?”
“Yeah I am. How long have I been out?”
“Well you had surgery which lasted a few hours, and they you’ve been asleep since, so probably around eight hours.”
“I’m just glad I’m not in any more pain and that I’m finally with you.” I said sitting up.
“Same here.” he smiled.
“I just need to get out here and take pictures. Its bugging me that I’m not taking any pictures lately.”
“You’ll be out in no time, all squeaky clean.” he smiled again.
“Where’s Lauren?”
“She’s at home with my mom. She wanted to come see you, but she’s deathly afraid of hospitals. But when you’re out, I’m sure she would love to see you.”
“Yeah.” I said looking away.
“What’s wrong?” he said standing up to see me.
“Nothing.” I started crying.
“Kacey.” he always knew I lied when I said that.
“I’ve misses a lot of school as it is, I’m behind, college is rolling around and I haven’t even applied to that college in California, I have no idea how I’m going to pay for this.”
“Kacey, you need to relax. All the schools work is at your house, I will help you with it. I called Michael, and him and Alexia helped me apply for you to go to California, don’t worry about the money. You are always stressing about things, you need to relax and stop being in charge.”
I didn’t know what to say to that. I couldn’t believe he did all of that for me. Yes he was right, I need to relax and stop being in charge, I was always the one controlling everything and I hated it. I tried to take care of my sisters as if I was the parent, even though I knew I wasn’t. I just tried to continue what my parents would have done, but it led me into the hospital, I must be doing something wrong.
“Miss Berk?” a nurse said entering the room.
I turned around and saw her holding something, “Yeah.”
“Your hospital bill is paid for.”
“Who paid it?!” I was surprised.
“It doesn’t say, just left a note saying ‘Thanks for everything, don’t forget about my picture.’”
Why would Brad pay for my bill? It must have been a lot, with his bill also it must have been a fortune!
I just wanted to get of this place and get home so everything could go back to the way things were. A few minutes later the guy from the art show giving me a scholarship came inside my room.
“Its nice to see you well.” he said standing in front of the bed. “I talked to and showed your photos to other administrators at the college, and we would love to have you come to our school for free. We will pay for the whole year, when we see someone with potential, we want them.” he smiled.
