-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I woke up this morning by Alexia jumping on my bed. Wiping my face, it was all wet. Why? I drooled. Yes, I Kacey Berk drooled on myself.

“We are going to be late if you don’t take us to school in five minutes!” she yelled panicking at me.

“Okay, I’m up!” I said standing up but still half asleep.

Since I was still in my clothes from yesterday I just put my hair in a pony tail and left the apartment looking like I did yesterday. Well only messier and smellier.

“Hurry, we’re going to be late.” Alexia said as I parked in front of the school.

“See you later!” I yelled as both Taryn and Alexia booked it inside the building.

Being stuck in a small space with my day old smell I begun to cough. Man did I really stink. I rushed home and I immediately took a shower. I couldn’t stand to be with myself any longer.

I got out of the shower and I felt so much better. I got dressed and made my way towards Mikes Shop. I thought I ought to help him out.

Driving to Mikes I was still very happy. Just being with Logan, made me really happy. He makes me feel special, loved, cared for, he makes me laugh, and I always want to be with him.

But not seeing him for two days, I miss him terribly. You may say I should get over it, but I can’t. He’s my future, and being away from him hurts.

“Hey stranger! Going to work?” Mike asked me as I entered the shop.

“Yeah.” I said walking to the back of the counter. I dropped my stuff in the back and I joined Mike up front.

“So how’s the boyfriend?” he asked me.

“Fine.” I smiled. “Gave me roses yesterday by surprise.” I smiled even bigger.

“Wow. He must really love you.”

“He does, and I really love him.” I said.

“Oh young love.” he smiled.

“I forgot to tell you that my graduation is this Saturday at two in the afternoon.” I told Mike as he put a straw in the customers cup.

“Saturday, I think I have to stay here and work, its going to be busy, it’s the last Saturday of June, meaning everything on the menu is half the price.”

“Mike! You have to come! I’m like your only daughter, you have to come to my graduation. You only get to see me get my high school diploma once.”

“Maybe I can ask Michael if he can work for me.”

“Well I just need you to go. But if you can’t, I guess its alright.” I said walking away from him.

“Fine! I will find someone to fill in for me.” he said giving in.

“Yes!” I hugged him tight.

“Now get back to work!” he said sarcastically.

Well its good to know that my guilt trick still works.
