Chapter 17

Things are starting to get a little crazy, wouldnt you say? Ha! Hope you like it!

I woke up this  morning feeling nothing but invincible. I felt like I could do anything I want and I was really happy. Looking up there was Brad but I could tell something was wrong with him.

“Brad? Are you alright?” I asked him.

“I don’t know. I came back during the night and waking up I can feel my feet.” he said laying down on his cloud.

“Brad.” I said shaking I’ve never seen this before in my life. “Your feet are gone.”

“What!?” he screamed looked down and there were no feet connected to his legs. 

“How is this possible?” I asked.

“I don’t know. I guess its meaning that I need to get back to my body or I will just die.”

“But you can’t die, you are having a baby, you have your girlfriend, you cant die on them, I know you can get out of here!” I screamed.

“I told you a lot yesterday, I don’t see why I’m disappearing and not back there.” he said pointing back to his room.

“So what else did my dad say? Follow what’s in your heart. Is there something you hesitated about doing or saying?”

“Well yeah. But I don’t even know if I am this.”

“Are what? Just tell me, your secret is safe with me.”

“Ever since I was little I always had this thing about me and I-”

What I heard couldn’t possibly be them. I heard voices that seemed familiar to me that came from my room. I ran to my room and I couldn’t believe who I saw.

“May I help you?” Logan asked looking up as two people came inside the room.

“Is this the room for Kacey Berk?”

“Yes it is, may I ask who you are?”

“We are her grandparents?”

Alexia sprung up and started looking at them. She would have been around four years old when she spent time with our grandparents, I don’t know if she would have remembered them.

“Grandma Lou, Grandpa Terry?” she said approaching us.

“Alexia?”

“Yeah.”

“Oh my gosh you grown up so much! Oh and Miss Taryn.” Grandma said.

“Now all of a sudden when someone is hurt you come to us like nothing happened?” Alexia said in her attitude voice.

“Alexia, that is no way to talk to your grandmother.” Grandpa Terry said.

“You may have think I was too young to understand but I was there when you decided to abandon us. You thought the three of us somehow made our parents stuck in the house and died in that fire. I remember you fighting with Kacey and how she fought to keep us. You hated us because we reminded you of our parents. You would never want to see us, talk to us, you were ashamed. Now that your granddaughter is in a coma at the hospital you decide to come! So it took one accident leading someone in the hospital for you to come!? You aren’t even nice. I don’t even want you to be my grandparents anymore!” she yelled.

“Now Alexia calm down.” Logan interrupted holding her back and she held onto him.

“Who are you?” Grandpa Terry said.
